I gave it 4* although it reads like an Adventure movie with constant action and the hero surviving every attack, it was a good read

I have already read The Book Thief and I am the Messenger but I just found out thatMarkus Zusak also wrote a trilogy called Underdogs. So I have put that in for one of my books by a male author.Should be interesting.

I've just added to my list Out of Ireland by Christopher Koch, Rabbit Proof Fence by Doris Wilkington, Fatal Shore by Robert Hughes and My Place by Sally Morgan.

I have book 2 down as my February read so all I have to do is read book 3 after that and then I can make book 4 my July new release! All this planning is too tiring. I'm off to spend some quiet time with a good book............

I found Edith very frustrating at times but interested to see how her character develops & where life will lead her.
