Title: The Law of Success from the 1925 Manuscript Lessons
Author: Napoleon Hill
ISBN: 978-0-578-08491-6
Publisher: Vieux Publishing
Publication Date: 2011
Format: Hard-cover
Description:
President Woodrow Wilson, F. W. Woolworth, John Wanamaker, George Eastman... these great leaders raved about it but the public has never seen it!

Thomas Edison held it in his hands...

"My dear Mr. Hill:

Allow me to express my appreciation of the compliment you have paid me in sending me the original manuscript of the LAW OF SUCCESS philosophy.
From a cursory examination of your manuscript I can see that you have spent a great deal of time and thought in its preparation. Your philosophy is sound and you are to be congratulated for sticking to your work in organizing it, over so long a period of years. If your students of this philosophy will work as hard in applying it as you have in building it they will be amply rewarded for their labor..."

Yours very truly,
Thomas A. Edison

President Taft proclaimed...
"...it contains material which every leader in every walk of life should understand."

But after publishing editors swooped down like vultures: ripping apart a carcass piece by piece; they left it quite different than what Hill had intended.

Now available for the first time in history; you can own your own copy of the very text only a handful of great leaders laid their eyes on!

This 6x9 book is beautifully hard bound, gold foil stamped and high quality design; it is a must have for any collector! Give it as a gift to your friends, family, co-workers or a student!

Jd Okken | 8 comments How do I get the meta data edited? I can't do it.

Traveling Diva (travelingdiva) | 372 comments You would have to be the author and in the author program, or be a librarian.

So, the easiest thing to do is just post in this discussion group what changes should be made.

Jd Okken | 8 comments Well, the genre of the book falls into success, self-help, motivation and business.
The places the book is available are ebay, amazon and www.successbookstore.net

What are the other things that need to be changed so that it's easily searched for?

message 6: by Jd (new)

Jd Okken | 8 comments Can't we add the publishers website and bookstore to the description as others have it?

lafon حمزة نوفل (lafon) | 3544 comments Metadata doesn't have any discernible effect on the search tool. Also the metadata is mostly crowd-sourced. Publisher and bookseller links should not be in the description. When librarians come across those they get removed.

Jd Okken | 8 comments So is this book categorized? I.E. success, self-help, etc.?

message 9: by Cait (new)

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Jd, you can get the categorization off to a start by shelving the book yourself and using shelves with those genre names. Genres are not set by librarians but by reader consensus.

Jd Okken | 8 comments Ahhh, so how do go about doing that? Thanks so much for your help!

Lacrima_Atra | 101 comments Here's a link to the help section, where it is explained how to create shelves: How do I create custom shelves?

If you add your book to your library (and to whichever shelves you choose), the shelves will show up on the book page.

Jd Okken | 8 comments Thanks! Are there any other steps I can take to get it more exposure?

You might want to join the GR Author Feedback group -- that's where authors discuss how best to use GR.
