Hey ladies...I started this thread and then went AWOL for awhile so sorry about that. Thanks to those who have sent me friend requests and those who are still figuring it out, I just sent requests to you. For those still needing help, on your Nook, go to Settings, then Social, then Manage my NOOK friends. Here is where you can request/add friends. "Click" on any friend's name, and it will show you the books they have available to lend. Each book can be lent once for 14 days, and during that time, you won't have access to it on your Nook but it will reappear for good once the 14 days have passed or the friend returns it, whichever comes first.
I hope this helps. I have the Nook Simpletouch (w/Glowlight {best.thing.ever}, so I can't speak for all Nooks but I'm guessing they work pretty much the same.

I have a Nook, and I'd like to buy the book:Falling for the Ghost of YouIt is not for sale at Barnes, is there some place else I can get it from?
Stephanie, your Nook friends will become your new best friends :o). And save you more money than you can imagine. If you'll look up on this thread to Jan 7th, I explained how to add friends.Monica, when you go to the friends who have been added on your Nook, it should show you all of their lendable books and give you the option to "borrow". After you click on that, it will automatically send a request to the person you are borrowing from and once they accept it (most are fairly quick), you should get an e-mail notice letting you know the book is in your library. You can also go to your Barnes & Noble (My Nook) account to see all of the books available to you, as well as borrow directly from there as well.
Hope this helps....
No, I wish...sorry I wasn't clear. When you sign in B&N (My Nook) and go to My Library, then click on the "Friends" tab, then "Lend Me" tab, you can see everything your friends have available to lend and borrow their books directly from there. You can borrow on your Nook as well, but I haven't found a way to see everything available (in alphabetical order) like you can on the B&N website. Sorry again!
Nevaeh, I'm going to add everyone and check it out. Been too busy the past few days. Thanks! I've been spending too much money! Lol
