Days of Blood & Starlight
Thanks!

I'm leaving it completely up to each individual to decide who is in his/her family. So, the decision to include (or exclude) Step and Half siblings is up to you and you alone.

Days of Blood & Starlight
Thanks!"
OK approved. If it falls off page one between now & when you claim the book, just reference this post.

I was hoping to use A Great and Terrible Beauty for this. It has "romance" and "fantasy > paranormal" listed but not "romance > paranormal romance". Is it a yes or a no?

Hi -- I want to make it easy on our moderators, so I'll have to say no to this one. Only
romance > paranormal romance
fits.

As long as you are reading the translated copy, the answer is yes.

Sorry it took so long to answer your question -- yes, count yourself, since you are a member of your family :0)

In my family, the boys and the girls have different favorite genres that they read. To share these genres with the members here I’ve designed this task. Consider the members of what you consider to be your family. If a majority are male, pick “Boy” Option; if a majority are female, pick “Girl” Option; if there are an equal number of boys and girls in your family, pick “Equal Boy and Girl”. (The moderators will take your word for whichever option you choose, no need to go into justifications.)
Option “Boy”:
1. Read a book that has genre “History > World War II” on the first page. (80% of what my husband reads (outside of work)!)
Or:
2. Read a book that has been translated from its original language into the language you are reading (ex. The Iliad) (I have a multi-lingual son :0) who knows, one day he might be the “translator”). REQUIRED: Please state the original language that the book was written in.
Option “Girl” (I’ve picked my daughters’ favorite genres):
1. Read a book that has genre “Romance > Paranormal Romance” on the book's main page.
Or:
2. Read a book that has tje genre “Humor” or “Humor>Comedy” on the book's main page.
And, since everyone in my family loves BBC’s show “Doctor Who”, if the number of boys and girls in your family is equal,
Option “Equal Boy and Girl:”
Read a book with genre “Science Fiction > Time Travel” on the first page.
