I think Mircea actually likes kids which is not so surprising since he loved Dory as a child and was cheated out of his relationship with her. He was so good with Stinky and mostly Claire's son.

I am still not convinced that Mircea ever had a thing with Ming De. I think they managed to have a good working relationship and he is one of the ppl she likes/respects a little and over the years their friendship gained some quirks and slight flirting.

Its in FK. I think he called Stinky young man - and Stinky didn't distrust him too much. He also had Aiden in his lap while he was Dory's house and the kid was happy. Claire had to put aside her hatred of vamps coz Mircea was just that good with the baby.
