@Enjee - Thanks! @Lannister - I like "The Exalted Zheng-Zi" - Sounds pretty cool. I loved him in the whole fight with Dory, especially when he told cashier to 'get', after hitting on her.
Oh come on as if a shoe is going to cover Mircea he did tell Cassie he was bigger than the average although billy did say he had seen bigger.
Pah! There's nothing bigger than Mircea's ... ego!!I'm with Billy on this one! :D
I think you're just jealous that Mircea's equipment gets more screen time =p
I think it could use a little more screen time but maybe Karen would write a spin off series for Lannister next about Marlowe but then we would never hear the end of it.

Maybe there is a group for that Marlowe lover's annonomus but then I would need one for Mircea.
So in the interest of equality is anyone interested in suggesting 12 top female pics for a KC girl's calender? Are are even 12 girls in the books?How about a name with something that you associate with them or represents them. Corny is fine!
So for example January could be The Consul in a snake pit!

Claire would have to be in a green dress (and have red hair!) It's been mentioned a few times that she wears green a lot.As for Francoise, you know when you see pics from a fashion show and sometimes the models are wearing an outfit that is utterly crazy? That's how I see her. She'd be dark and sultry and wearing some mad outfit that Augustine inflicted on her.
Ming-de would be levitating in her chair, waving her shrunken head on a stick around.
As for other female characters, there are the other senators that we've heard about. Augusta for one, and Halcyon (the one who was getting it on with Anthony). Not quite certain what they look like, beyond that Augusta wears Victorian outfits.
How about Sal? A gangster's moll with a scar and one eye! There's a challenge LOL!
There was also Myra, the evil pythian heir. I guess anyone who channels 'evil bitch' would work for her.
And talking of evil bitches, there's Christine, who looked like a model, though she was short.
Can't think of anyone else right now.

We'll go up to August in a regular monthly manner, then we'll jump back to June and start counting up again. We can have as many months as we want in a calendar!! :D

I was looking for some fantasy art for another project this afternoon, and I came across this pic and thought "Ye gods, that's Dory!" It's a Photoshop rendering of Mila Kunis (which I don't see, to be honest) but it really looks like the Dory from the book covers, as well as being the sloe-eyed beauty that Cassie describes. I absolutely love it!!

I agree it I can't see Mila Kunis in it either but yes I can see Dory. I like Dory on the covers of the books but I have noticed some of the fan art makes her look a little butch. We all know Dory is tough and doesn't dress at all lady like but I think with her family plus the fact that Louis Cesare follows her around like a lost puppy she has got to be fairly attractive.
I love the pic Lannister!! @Cherie - I agree. I think Cassie describes Dory as really beautiful when she sees the album - and cassie does not have too many image issues , but she thinks Dory is way more pretty than her.
Also, Dory's strength does not come from lots of workouts (I don't think her going to the gym or for a run is EVER mentioned) but rather from her being a dhampir. So she can't really be butch - except for her dressing sense and the fact that she keeps her hair short. But that would just give her a mercenary look - nothing more. I am pretty sure she is this slender, petite chick who everyone underestimates - until she starts kicking ass.

He's gorgeous..! Too pretty really for Scarface...but I wouldn't mind having to look at him for a whole month, LOL.

@Enjee - I love the images. Cassie and Francoise are really good and I love your Ming De. It is perfect for her considering she is supposed to look like a delicate flower - no matter how strong or ancient she happens to be. I like the second image for Dory. Just cannot see Keira Knightly as Dory. Although that Mila Kunis photoshop image is still my fav.
Hi I like Cassie and the second Dory model. Ming De is great too but I imagined her a older- more like middle aged. Is that me? That's Keira Knightly? Man, I am so bad at recognising people. :(
I don't entirely see Ming-de like that pic. It's hard to describe exactly, but I see her with more of an air of self-absorption. She's no doubt beautiful, but she'll have a harder edge, not a sweet face. Whether I can find a person with this look, I don't know!Anna, I don't think Ming-de looks middle-aged. I think Cassie describes her as gorgeous, so I don't think she looks older. It's interesting though how you get an impression of someone in your head from reading about them, even if it's not quite how they're described in the books.
Of the two Dory pics, I like Keira Knightly better, but she's not quite there. I'm still kinda in love with that photoshop pic. It'll take a lot to beat that for Dory - in my head at least!
I suppose my problem is that the fan fic picture looks too fragile; she almost looks like a young Sofia Loren
....whereas the second model looks more like she might get through a fight worse for wear but still alive!
Enjee, like your Cassie. I thought Charlize Theron looks too old and only a normal sort of pretty. Kylie not pretty enough.
I definitely like that picture for Cassie.'I think the only thing wrong with the pictures for Dory is her facial expression. Her facial expression is never going to be sweet, but I think her features themselves might be.
You know I picture Dory as less pretty than Cassie based on the picture Karen Chance picked for her on her website. That pic is ugly. But I kind of think she must look better than that but not because LC is chasing after her. She seems to have grown on him as he got to know her and he is looking for a deeper connection with her than just physical. I'd say Mircea is attracted to Cassie for her looks and partly for herself. Pritkin as well initially since they had an attraction while still antagonistic toward each other but then it became more and they have a deeper connection. People in the books seem to think she's beautiful. I kind of think of Alyssa Milano as Dory because the book covers remind me of her.
Cassie described Dory as 'sultry' (from the pics she saw in that photo album Mircea had). Also KC has admitted that some of the pics aren't quite right on the web site, so I don't think Dory is a pig LOL! As for who's better looking, I dunno.Anna, I see what you're saying with a resemblance to Sophia Loren. However, when I first saw the pic I thought of Audrey Hepburn. :)
I don't quite see Dory as Audrey Hepburn, although it does say in the books that people constantly underestimate her, so I don't think she looks tough in any way. She's only a little over 5' so she probably looks quite fragile.

Yes I can see the resemblance. Sofia looks more pouty whereas Audrey looks pretty.You often get people who may not appear beautiful, like either of these two women, but something about them makes them attractive. I think Dory probably has that. You'd either be terrified by her or be drawn to her!

I still cannot see Dory as terrifying, especially because of how often she is underestimated. She might now become terrifying with Dorina's emergence since she has that superior attitude of all powerful vampires.
Dory's description always goes towards pretty and I cannot get over Cassie calling her sultry.

Blimey she is terrifying but she looks about 12 yrs old! I couldn't forgive Mircea if he had had a thing with her...it would make his interest in the young Cassie seriously weird.
