I am 21 chapters in and I feel as though some of the chapters are almost too short. Some of them could have been combined in my opinion.

Can someone please explain to me how this whole "Changing" thing works?

We don't actually know how it works. (Unless it gives more detail later that I haven't gotten to) All we know is that when you get stung by a Griever they give you this serum. It cures you so you don't die. After you are given the serum you go through "The Changing" and your body freaks out and then you regain some memories. Usually people become really depressed or angry after sometimes crazy. So their personality changes. That is all I have been able to get as far as detail.

I will finish tonight too and will be up for discussing :)

when a griever stings someone (thats one of the many weapons attached to them) they start to die, but the grief serum takes the poisons out of the body. By doing this, the person literally changes into a green person all puffy with veins sticking out and can access their memories. When they wake up they start to forget most of them but some start to say. Thats why most people need to talk and tell other people right away to remember them. But they are usually so horrible no one wants to talk about them

Okay thanks! :) I was at a part in the book where it kept mentioning "The Changing", but I had no idea what it was. It later explained it in the book so I understand what it is now.
