One to go to finish the world (began summer, 2008).

Diane | 370 comments Back on track, thanks to having a week off last week. I may be able to finish my goal after all.

Tanya (tanya_) | 229 comments I've been sitting on 50 books for 50 countries for the past month or so - I'm having major problems concentrating on anything for more than 5 minutes and am bouncing off everything I start at the moment. Probably doesn't help that I currently have 8 books going at once. Planning on looking through the shelves to find a couple of easy reads and having a concentrated effort to finish the last 2 before Christmas.

Shomeret | 520 comments I am on my 46th book. I have 6 books to go, but I have to start preparing to teach a class starting on December 13th. So I don't have very much reading time in the rest of December. That's why I said I couldn't finish the challenge.

Sue I've finished 28 of my goal of 30 with multiple extra books read for several countries and not included in these lists. Not sure if I'll make my goal or not but not concerned given how great a reading year it's been.

And congratulations Osho!

Thing Two (thingtwo) I think I'll hit 30, maybe 31. I read too many books from the UK this year!

message 8: by Louise (new)

Louise | 120 comments I wanted to read 30 this year, and the last 23 next year, I only have one to go! :-)

message 9: by Lara (new)

Lara (laradyane) I'm not quite going to make it to 52 (I kinda lost my motivation in the last few months, sadly), but I got close, and it's been a super interesting year! I've read some really great books, and learned a lot, and will definitely do something like this again next year (although I might be a little less ambitious). In any case, this was a really great challenge for pushing me out of my comfort zone and encouraging me to read books I would have never tried otherwise. Yay!
