What I'm Reading - December 2012

Started reading Fiasco by James Robert Parish. It's a history of major Hollywood flops. Very informative, fast and analytical. Good research material and fun!

I'd be afraid to count my books. There were probably about ten, I'm the slowest reader ever.

Most recently I finished my annual Trollope. I've already read all the major novels so I'm into the not-so-great ones. This one, THE BERTRAMS, was wordy and digressive, but still had quite a bit of entertainment value and a couple fascinating by-ways.

Have just started Kindred by Octavia Butler and a reread of Moon Tiger by Penelope Lively.

I stayed home all day yesterday and started and finished The Blue Star by Tony Earley. Very sweet story.
