This is the thread for the logo design contest. Each season group members will have the opportunity to design a new logo that will represent the group during the duration of the following challenge. You may submit a header banner design to accompany your logo.

Pictures and anything used to create the logo should be original material (i.e. no copyrighted images). Include links in your post to resources modified for elements of your design.

You can post a picture directly in this thread or provide a link to the image. The logo should reflect in someway the season, bonus theme or purpose of the group.

The Spring 2013 bonus theme is: The White Tiger of the West representing Autumn

This thread is open for submissions and it will close at Midnight EST on February 16, 2013 - voting will start the next day and run until the end of the day on February 28, 2013. The winning submission will replace the current logo on March 1st. Good Luck To Everyone!!

Ty | 563 comments Do you know the pixel dimensions of the icon and the banner? Can entrants submit both or just one or the other?

ratio 3:1 1500X500 for the masthead (allow some free space at the lower left for the icon overlap on the group page)

ratio 1:1 200X200 for the icon GR accepts more size variability for icons

You can submit an icon or an icon and a masthead. If the icon alone wins the contest you can work on a mast head or we'll fill the masthead with the default image (4 season flaring earth)
