What Do You Normally See When You Read?

OMG, how cute is that?!?! I would NEVER get any reading done if that was my view! What a pretty kitty!! :DMy view...currently, my youngest daughter is laying on my legs and we are watching Sooby-doo and I'm reading
. or, my view is a sleeping husband while I try to stay up all night to "just read one more chapter and THEN I'll go to sleep"! LOL!
I am forever reading "Just one more chapter". It always turns out to be way more. Then before I know it it's like 5 am and I am still "Just one mroe chapter" away from sleep lol. And kitty (Aqua) is adorable for the first 30 minutes then she is just in the way lol.
Aww how cute :) If I have time, I'll post my lazy cat also :DI don't let him near me when I read, though, because he usually gets in the way, like sleeping on my lap or something. He is an attention seeker also, so if no one pays him any attention he would scream and jump around like crazy!
When I First seen this topic I was thinking "man I don't have a picture :( well this literally just happened..this is what I put up with LOL"
OMG Ari, I Love it!!! how sweet and cute is that?! I mean, annoying and sweet and cute! :) I have a dog so I love all the torment you guys get from your cats! My dog pretty well ignores me while I read unless he wants to go for a walk :D
haha annoying yes! she's not even my cat she belongs to my older sister and she tortures me like this x) Pretty sure we are going to see a lot of cat pictures in this topic haha.

Aww so precious! I am glad I am nto the only that has a pet against reading lol.
Normally I'm sitting on the left side of our blue love seat & my Bichon Frise, Jazzmine, ALWAYS curls up against my right side. Often she puts her head on my right leg too.To my left is our fireplace with pics of my deceased mother & father & my husband's deceased father & his still-living mother.
In front of me is our entertainment center, 50 inch flat screen TV, & two bookshelves on either side.

I usually read in bed now (because I just got out from a major operation so bed rest is mandatory). My 7 years old daughter will lie down beside me and she will read out loud and will keep asking of the meaning of the words. I can never complain though :)
I normally see the book I'm reading, otherwise I'm probably not reading :p Nah just kidding. Either my bedroom, the bus, or the living room generally! Although I tend to get distracted by my computer...like now o_o;

My view is the lights off with a flashlight and my kindle haha I'm asking for the lighted one for Christmas
My view depends on which room I read. Mostly it is the computer/hobby room (and I see my computer and my anime/game figures(or figurines or how else you call them) and a picture of me and my boyfriend and when my boyfriend is home and he is busy coding I see him and his computer since I mostly turn to him then.), but I also read a lot in the bedroom (where I see either the ceiling with the lamp with clouds, or the wall or my bed) and kitchen (where I see my food being cooked, and all the other kitchen stuff). :)I also read when I travel, so either the inside of the train or a bus and whatever landscape flashes by. :)
Though I get distracted sometimes. Since mostly when I read in the computer/hobby room I also do other things (moderating sites, listening to music or scrolling through youtube).
