Hello! I have Librarian status but can't update a cover!

I can't see if you are a librarian or not due to your author profile. If you post a link to your cover I can update it.

As an author you have limited librarian abilities which generally does not include updating covers if one already exists.

If you have a new cover for an edition that has been published you need to create an alternate cover edition

Are you a Goodreads librarian or a Goodreads author?

And "updating" covers is against Goodreads policy. You should create an alternate cover edition with the new cover leaving the old edition untouched. You can do that as an author.
