Does Dinah count?

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

*Arrowette (I love Cissie!)

And I think...Would Cheshire?

I don't think so...

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

But then that would mean that Dinah Lance/Black Canary doesn't count?

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh yeah!! Forgot about him...

message 14: by Alli (new)

Alli (akwinot) I would say that Cheshire does not count but Dinah does. Cheshire may be the mother of Lian, but she dumps her on Roy and then bails and continues to do other things. Like blow up a fictional country and kill millions of people.

Dinah, however, would count because she's been with Oliver as far back as the 60's. No matter how many times they break up, or he dies, she will ALWAYS be in love with him. She can't just get over him like that. And I believe that if Dinah were able to have children (last time I checked, I don't believe she is) she and Ollie would have kids by now. It might be a little bit dysfunctional but they'd be a family.

Besides Dinah is like Roy's mother. Going as far back as the "Snowbirds don't fly" story arc in the 60's. Dinah was there for Roy even more so than Oliver.

The Dinah/Oliver relationship is a thousand times different than the Cheshire/Roy one. Besides, she has another child with Thomas Blake aka Catman during the Secret Six run.

Alli (akwinot) Personal opinion from a comic fan?

message 16: by Alli (new)

Alli (akwinot) That's what I'm here for. xD

Good point.

I guess, since Cheshire doesn't really...interact much with the Arrow family.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

yep.

message 20: by rabiosas (new)

rabiosas (makingbaconpancakes) | 360 comments Poor Roy ;_; I'm half hoping they don't include Roy's "problem"

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh dear. I wouldn't know what I'd do if they included 'the problem'

message 22: by Alli (new)

Alli (akwinot) Haven't they kind of hinted at it? Roy was looking pretty rough at the beginning of the episode with Lian.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

I just don't want Lian to die.

message 24: by Alli (new)

Alli (akwinot) Considering real Roy doesn't have an arm, they wouldn't do it anyway. Killing a child is something I don't think Cartoon Network would touch. They've barely referenced Jason. Seeing if Ahsoka is going to die in the clone wars is something I'm curious about. I highly doubt they're going to show it, and if they do it won't be during Order 66 at the Jedi Academy.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't really watch Clone Wars.

But they showed Jason's memorial, if they do a season 3, I want them to touch more on the Jason story.

message 26: by Alli (new)

Alli (akwinot) I don't either. I doubt they're going to go in depth with Jason. It's not exactly appropriate to mention that Joker beat Robin with a crowbar and then blew him up.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

True. But they could just say that the Joker killed him?

Probably, or maybe they're too scared of Batman

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Good point.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

*mysterious voice* You should be scared.

Anyway, who thinks that GA has an awesome beard?

message 31: by Alli (new)

Alli (akwinot) I'm biting my tongue about continuity.

message 32: by Alli (new)

Alli (akwinot) I just want a Lonely Place of Dying to be shown on the show. I could care less about Jason until he comes back as Red Hood. Which would bring in Hush. I swear I should write my own cartoon.

I honestly wan to see how Batman, Nightwing, and Batgirl react to his death, but I don't need to see the Red Hood in the show.
