Tamahome | 7230 comments Is this fantasy author really 'post modern'?

The interview is both in audio and transcribed in text:

Gustav Alexander | 1 comments Eriksons books were part of what got me back into fantasy.
I can certainly see how it contains stylistic elements of postmodernism (the narration as he points out) and even his writing style.
But beyond that i dont see it. In my experience most 'classic' postmodern litterature is anthropocentric, emotionally pornographic, neo-feminist and very microcossmic in its scope and focus.
Epic fantasy is by definition an antithesis to this and that is really why i like it so much.

I'm somewhat biased when it comes to this though. Not a huge fan of postmodern litterature in general.
