"Me too, with friends like you I'm sure I will," she said with a bright smile and looked out at the field. "Thank you for helping me."
"Oh well yeah, we have to do that in front of people. But maybe if you don't feel comfortable batting, you can catch.....?" Chandra said.
She looked at her, "catch? Like catch the ball? Hmmm maybe." She looked at her hands and hoped she could do something right.
Saee looked around, "I'm not sure." She stood up and leaned out of the dugout some, bending over slightly at the hips to look around.
Georgia was outside of the fields arguing with a friend from back home about the price of selling their farm.

Chandra looked at Saee and blushed. She was really pretty. But they had only known each other for a few hours.....
Saee couldn't see the coach anywhere, she pushed some of her hair from her face, then turned and walked back into the dugout. "You okay?" She asked her friend, she was blushing.
Saee didn't understand what had happened to make her cheeks turn pink, she wanted to question her further but didn't want to seem rude so she stayed quiet. Saee leaned against the wall of the dugout right in front of Chandra, her long legs stretched out in front of her, her feet almost touching Chandras.
Chandra smiled and said," Tell me about yourself. Anything that you think I should know about you."
"Hmmm," She thought about it a moment. "Well I love to draw," She told her. "And I can sew and mend clothes, cook, clean, do as I'm told pretty well... how much about me do you want to know?" She asked thinking of showing her something.
"Anything you think I should know about you. Then I'll do the same thing for you," Chandra said smiling lightly at Saee.
"Well something most don't know, if I didn't do something right, like made a mistake, or I took too long with something, or got caught sketching I was whipped across my back," She told her quietly.
Saee looked at her, "I have ugly scars and will probably never find someone to love me." She said honestly.
Chandra wanted to say that she loved her but that would seem kind of awkward seeing that they only met just a couple of hours ago. "You will, people will love you.... they already do...." Damn it Chandra! Why did you have to say that?! She starts mentally bitch smacking herself.
((SO I never got a notification))
Saee looked at her with doubt in her eyes, she knew that her scars would make it impossible to get a husband. Her father had already made that perfectly clear. "I don't think so Chandra," She said and blinked back tears.

Saee blinked back the tears that had been threatening to take over, "You do?" She asked, she felt a surge of warmth flow through her at Chandras words. "Oh thank you thank you!" Saee said and leaned against Chandra as she gave her a tight hug.
Saee pulled back and looked at the light pink that had fallen over her cheeks. Saee realized how intimate they were and wondered if she should back away, her body was still touching Chandra's and she was looking back at her. She knew she should withdraw but felt warm and comfortable and for some reason didn't want to.
Saee leaned closer to her, then pulled away and felt like she was gasping for air, she didn't answer as she put a hand to her stomach and turned away a moment.
"I think so, I just felt like my breath was taken away, I'm not sure why," She said blushing, she kind of thought she knew but wouldn't voice it.
Same was bout to tell her something when Georgia came in and announced they were going to a classroom. Saee grabbed her bag and pulled Chandra with her.
Haku chuckled and looked around the green fields.
Georgia was pulling a big bag along the ground near a dugout.

"you can probably come sit in the dugout" Blair said, pulling him along as she ran across the fields "hi! I'm here to try out!" she chirped to what seemed to be the coach
Georgia smiled at the young girl that walked up. "Good I need more players, I'm coach George," she said. Haku walked into a dugout to chill.
"oh good! I've been playing since I was 5, so I know the game. And that kids overgrown oaf man, don't pay attention to him" blair pointed sideways at haku
Georgia rose a brow, "how old is he? He looks 22."
Haku was drawing on himself with different gel pens from Blair's bag.

"18" Blair said, waving her hand to try and dismiss the subject. "not a big deal"
"sure" Blair decided to just work in her skirt, it was short enough anyway...
Georgia picked up a small canvas bag that had about 15 softballs in it, then walked up to the pitchers mound with the bag and her glove in tow.
Blair grabbed a bat from a nearby bag and stepped up to the plate. She tapped it twice with her bat and then got into her stance, holding the bat up, ready.
