Kyla | 5 comments Can someone help me fix the way my book is listed? It seems to have been listed three times, twice with multiple authors i have never heard of. How can I fix this?

Here are the wrong listings:

Kyla | 5 comments Actually, this one is just totally wrong:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

Can it be deleted? I would love to claim Whitman's writings as my own but... no such luck!

So why did you say it WAS yours?

No. They cannot be deleted.

That Better?
Are There Any Other People That Contributed, Edited,Or Had Any Other Part In The Making Of The Book That Should Be Mentioned. BTW I Changed The Synopsis To The One Currenty On AMAZON.COM.

G.C. :) "

Graham. We cannot use information from Amazon or any other bookseller.

You should, perhaps, read this:

Really read the manual. There are good reasons why we don't use bookseller info and the manual list what we can and cannot use.

I've replaced the default description with the text from the authors tumblr page. It looks pretty much the same but we can now prove that it is not Amazon data.

Looks like an interesting book.

If you mean can the description be deleted, yes, but in this case I replaced it with the same description as the other editions.

If you mean the edition, no, as it is a perfectly valid ISBN for your book.

If you looked at the link she provided, it is her book, it just had a description of a Whitman collection. It wasn't clear from her post but it was very obvious once you looked at the edition. I fixed it to use the default description.

If you check my previous post you will see that it was ME who added the default description.

The OP was asking, I think, for the books to be deleted as they were completely wrong. Since she also said they were hers I thought there was a contradiction somewhere.

Yes I know you changed the default. I'm sorry, you seem offended. It was not my intention to agitate you. I only changed the book she referred to as Whitman's to use the default description you provided.

Not offended, just in a rush. Sorry. I thought the Whitman description was removed yesterday. Odd.

Kyla | 5 comments Actually, I wrote that synopsis for my publisher, who used it for the back of the book and for Amazon, so I guess you could say it belongs to me?

Kyla | 5 comments I'm so grateful for everyone's help here - thank you for correcting the listing. I have a bad feeling that the publisher also messed up Books In Print so that's my next stop. Bests, Kyla
