I know right...I looked on the website and there was nothing yet but I will let you all know as soon as I see something!!!
You can now enter the contest of a lifetime–to have a part in the New Moon movie. The Official Twilight Movie Site is having an amazing contest to win a part in New Moon.To enter, you’ll need to submit a 1-minute video of yourself explaining why you deserve to be a part of New Moon, and you could win a trip to the set and a chance to appear in the film. You’ll have to be at least 14 and a resident of the US or Canada to be eligibile. Here’s some more info that you’ll find on the Official Contest Page:
The contest is judged on three criteria:
Creativity: Show Your Inventive Side and Think Outside of the Box.
Originality: Be Unique and Different, and Make Yourself Stand Out.
Clarity of Expression: Speak Clearly and Articulate Your Points Well.
Be sure to read the Official Rules carefully–I noted a few things that might stand out as potential pitfalls–
(3) Be no more than one (1) minute in length. (Submissions over one minute in length will be disqualified.)
(4) Target an English-speaking audience.
(1) Have been previously published, broadcast, televised, posted to any video-sharing. social-networking, or other web site, or entered into any other competition, contest or promotion, or exploited in any other manner.
(2) Include background or other third party artwork (e.g., posters, signage, paintings, etc.) or music unless it is an original work of the Entrant, or in the public domain (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion).
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 11:59 PM PT ON MARCH 20, 2009.

OMG I just read the line "the lucky winner will be traveling to Vancouver..." and I almost fainted! I dont know if I could handle winning this...I'll hyperventilate myself into a coma state! And how does someone meet RPattz without attacking him or ...again...passing out (while turning all shades of red???).
I might just strive to submit the worst video ever hahahah
I would use the plane ride to claim my self down, then try and act "normal" once i got there. I was talking w/ my friends about this, and one of my guy friends jokingly was like, "I'm going to enter and be like 'Pick me even though I know nothing about Twilight!'" Then he would smile and give them a big thumbs up for the rest of the time. It would deffently be unique.

NEW MOON NEWS
Does it get any better than this? Summit is about to launch a contest which will give one lucky contestant from the US or Canada the chance to BE IN NEW MOON. This contest will take place at the Official Twilight The Movie Website–and we’ll let you know as any new details on how to enter emerge!
