If I remember correctly, Percy gets Riptide from Chiron. How do you think Chiron got it? Was that mentioned and I just missed it?

no you guys have got it all wrong zoe's mother was a ocean spirit and riptide was formed from the ocean so when hercules broke zoe's heart it retuned to the ocean and Poseidon took it and gave it to chiron to give to percy
