How do I change an author to another homonym author

Hi,

I'm trying to change the author of this book (Fernando González) to Fernando Gonzalez, because this book is not from Fernando González the Colombian existentialist but from Fernando Gonzalez from California.

When I try to change it (Taking out the acute in the last name it just stays the same)

How can I change it?

You cannot there is code in place that prevents the addition of "similar" names (or something along those lines)

You will need to add two spaces between the first and second name which is how we disambiguate authors with the same name. You can then edit the author name to remove the acute.
