Hey, although I imagine others are on their distribution list, I just thought I'd give everyone a heads-up: all downloads (close to 1500, I think) are available for $4.99 each today only at tantor.com.

I've ordered from them in the past and found everything to be just fine.

i got this email too... i ended up getting a few sci-fi and fantasy books that were on my audible wishlist. not bad for titles i had been planning to spend a credit on.

a word of warning: the tantor android app is terrible. it downloads the book in tiny chunks (30+), and if you close the program before it is finished, it starts the entire download over. i haven't been able to get it to download more than 6 parts without timing out and starting over either. i will be downloading the mp3 files and shuttling them to the phone manually.

I have been very pleased with ordering from Tantor . . . just received seven books on CD's I ordered that were on sale for $6.99 each. And they arrived in library binders that usually sell for $60 - $80 each and they also include eBooks on CD or downloads with some titles. I signed up to get their newsletters and they sent me an email about this sale.

I've been looking at Tantor < tantor.com > and Blackstone < downpour.com > more and more lately. They've been running some nice deals.
I enjoy Audible but it's worth knowing that they are not the only game in town.
