Is it really worth reading?

Perviously, I read the first couple of pages but then I convinced myself that it was too boring and not worth it. Is it really good? Should I bother reading it again or do you recommend me to read other books?

It's gorgeous! This book is really interesting. And Cam is sooooo handsome, but personally I prefer Daniel. Both of them are great. I would have a problem with chosen one of them... ;)

Instead of saying "angel" say "vampire". It's just another vampire story (Not that I have anything against them) but it's too much like Twilight. The guys a jerk to her and she still manages to fall in love with him. Was there a reason to him being a jerk? Just like Twilight. The author could have done something completely different with this story. When I started I wanted to go to sleep, it was just really slow and a bit confusing. Lauren Kate could have done so much better with this.

honestly it depends on your taste the main girl is the one character didn't like because she doesn't have a back bone and over all very mushy

I loved the entire series. I found some part to be a little draggy and slightly confusing with time jumping all over the place but I would definitely recommend all to read. I was utterly transported into the book and fell in love with the characters during these books and have now read them 3 times each. If anything I say, push through and read them at least once just so you can say you have.

in my opinion it is a great book :D sure it is worth the read :)

I thought it was cute, but not if you're expecting anything deep or a strong female lead... it's super light and fluffy in my opinion. :) I enjoyed it however, for the most part.

The first book is extremely good. I loved it to the point in where when i finished i almost cried because i didn't want it to stop there you know. I haven't read the rest of the books but i heard they rest suck. But the first book was great. :D

no. God no. I had the biggest headace ever reading it all. save yourself spme trouble and put the book down and walk away.

No. Just no.

I loved the series, I would probably read it again.

You should definitely read the series! They are really good; I love them. They are not like the Twilight Saga, I tell you that. But, the plot is good, and the book is very detailed. Luce can pis you off at some parts, but so far, the series are great! I am still waiting to read Rapture, and I cannot wait! Read it! You won't regret! :)

I stopped reading this book at 92%. At that point, I really didn't care how it ended. After 80% it was just AWFUL.

But seriously... quitting at 92%? That is UNHEARD OF for me.

I loved first book but when you read the others you're getting bored and bored. I even had headache from Lucy!!!

The first two are good. The last two are terrible. As a series I would have to advise against.

The first book gets good after you get into it a little more. I thought the second one was good to. Then you get to the third one and it's kind of confusing. The fourth was a good ending to the whole series.

The first one wasn't too bad...I couldn't really get into the other ones too much though.

I found the novel, along with others in the series, had a very slow start and the end result, though a very interesting concept, was not a very big finale and didn't make up for the dull beginning and middle. I would not recomend continueing the novel.

I like book 1, book 2 was also good, but i absolutely HATED book 3, and haven't read book 4...

First book was ok the rest were tedious, soppy, boring, melodramatic and a wast of time

Read the first few pages and immediatly wanted to put it down. I forced myself to read through it though, because my friends(for some unknown reason) beleive its the best book to grace the planet. But honestly i thoughtit was boring and way to much like twilight. I have nothing against twilight, its just not my thing.
its not worth reading unless you find stuff like twilight interesting.

I only read the first book en the second book partly ( until chaptet 6, still reading it ) I don't understand why anybody would say the first book is like twilight, because it isn't. I loved it, and I recommend it, altough the last book hasn't got good reviews. I'd say give it at schot

It's a good book, but I got lost somewhere in the middle othe second one.

*chapter
*a

sorry

I definitely thought it was worth it, but then again that was just me lol :] I just couldn't put the book down :D

i've read the first one and loved it, but the second one i could not get interested in

I really enjoyed it, although that doesn't seem to be the general opinion skimming through this discussion... I thought that the story line was really interesting and makes you think a lot about love and choice. Daniel is a great hero too.

No its the worst book iv read in a long time.

It really depends on what you like reading. I, for example, liked it. But didn't LOVE it. I woudn't read it again and neither would read the second book. But, for what I've seen on the commentes here, there are people who loved it, who hated it and who liked it. So, try to read at least the 2 first chapters and see if you like it.

ahh man i really enjoyed this series!! And i would re-read it x lol you guys crack me up haha

I know the comments on this book differ a lot. You either love it or you hate it. I personally love it. At the beginning of the book I hated Daniël and at the ending of the book I fell in love with him. It made me smile and it made me cry. It was my kind of perfect.
I guess I'm a sucker for books like this.

yesssssssss.

It's really slow and Luce is a bit too dependent on the guy whose name I can't even remember. Luce is a pretty weak protagonist.

eh i thought it was a little boring

It defiantly gets more interesting. I'd say it's worth another shot but it is more of a hopeless romantics kind of book.

fallen okay but i suggest u don't read it its a bit of a drag aanndd the re3st of the series is complicated.

this book is fucked. i hated it

READ IT, IT IS SOO GOOD :D

it might be sort of depressive and sort of slow at the beginning but it gets sooo AMAZING towards the middle and the end :)

It was incredibly dull. You'll have read the same story with a different supernatural being before. Try something new.

Unless supernatural romance is a favorite of yours (and you don't mind female characters stalking/being obsessed and losing their minds over their crush) I can't really recommend it. There is eventually a good build-up and interesting story going on (at least in the first book) but with very little payoff at the end, as it just sort of stops. :|

i found it dull and unimaginative. i found the main character to be whiny, and weak. i never finished.

I loved this book I read it three times; however, the other books of that series sucked! I only liked this book out of the series the rest seemed to drag and were incredibly boring

LOVED IT!
This book is pretty cool. I really enjoyed it, and its the first in the amazing "fallen" series. I agree this book isnt really "fast" or "too exciting", but its a really great start to a epic series. Fallen is so important to the rest of the story line, because of what it explains and what it sets you up for. It is a bit more complicated then most series. But the hole concept is so amazing!! Its one of the only series i have read, that i have been completely caught off gaurd by the end of the story.. its well worth the wait and well worth the read!

I loved the first book, but the rest of the series goes downhill pretty quickly. So it's probably best to go onto other books.

books 2 and 3 were damned.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
it is sooooooo boring

I wouldnt recommend to anyone this book! The series is too draggy, the main character (Luci) is soo annoying and really... the story isnt cool or creative! for me, it was a waste of money. i read 3 books of the series and didnt have courage to end with the last book!! >_<'

I've read the first two books and I liked them both, though you'd have to have a real patience for whiny characters. I don't like the main character but there are other very very likable characters that help make the story interesting. I would and wouldn't suggest this book. It really depends on your tastes.

Absolutely!

The book is really good. It's no Twilight maybe that's why so many kids are bitching. It adds some history and it's great in detail, she does go slow because she explains everything in detail. It has a really good plot, it's not just a basic love story. The books that come after are really deep in the story and complex. I loved all of them.

its a waste of time
