The sun burned the golden sand particles, warming Alice's feet. The waves playfully lapped at the shoreline. Little children ran about, playing in the sand. Teenagers played with their friends along the edge of the water, pushing each other playfully into the sea. Adults rested on colorful beach towels on the shore.
