[Halle]

"What about the school?" Ryan asked. "Or wherever it is the army goes?"

'At school i felt stiffled, trapped by expectations, i was the best fighter they had, still am, and thats not bravado, it truth, and in the army it's...exciting and i feel like i have true purpose, but im still not free, and at any moment i could die' says Damien, he turns to looks at Ryan seriously, his expression dark.

[Halle]

Ryan thought for a moment. "You make it hard to make a positive spin," she huffed.

Damien smiles at her comment, 'and why would you want to make a positive spin, are you actually admitting to wanting to make ME feel better Ryan, because that would mean you'd have to like me...at least a little'

[Halle]

"No, it's because I'd have to ride back to school with Moody Damien if I didn't," she told him, grinning.

[B.L.]

'Moody Damien?' says Damien 'as apposed to what exactly?'

[Halle]

"Slightly Amused Damien," Ryan said. "Not many other Damiens I've met."

[B.L.]

'I have many different sides apparently, as do you Ryan' Damien says with a slight smirk.

[Halle]

"Fabulous Ryan, Witty Ryan, Cute Ryan, Sarcastic Ryan... The list goes on."

[B.L.]

'You forgot whiny Ryan, angry Ryan, pessamistic Ryan...your right the list really does go on' says Damien humour in his eyes.

[Halle]

Ryan pouted. "I forgot about Snarky Damien and Egotistical Damien."

[B.L.]

'Egotistical? well now your just flattering me' says Damien with the same smirk.

[Halle]

Ryan rolled her eyes. "I live to make sure you feel good about yourself, sir," she said sarcastically.

[B.L.]

'Well its much apreciated' answers Damien ignoring her sarcasm.

[Halle]

"That's good," Ryan said. "You really don't like being at the school?"

[B.L.]

'Well im hardly ever there now, i only come by every few months to check on Xavier, to make sure he hasnt killed himself or something equally dramatic knowing him' Damien says in slightly exasperated voice.

[Halle]

Ryan frowned. "Xav wouldn't do that," she said. "He really is a good guy."

[B.L.]

'You don't know my little brother like i do, he's always doing things just to wind me up, the amount of times i've come home and he's been drunk, or having a party...i dont know, he's always had trouble dealing with out mother dying' says Damien.

[Halle]

"That tends to have an effect on some people."

[B.L.]

'yes Ryan, i know' says Damien, he tries to keep his anger in check by turning away from her, showing any kind of vunerability, even rage, makes Damien feel trapped.

[Halle]

Ryan bit her lip. "I'm going to find Ellie," she said quickly, leaving.

[B.L.]

Damien doesnt turn back intead he walks outside, suddenly the memories of the house feeling more like nightares haunting his thoughts.

[Halle]

Ellie sat on the couch, knees drawn up. "Memories," she muttered.
Ryan tried to look collected. "You should grab some sleep, Elle," she said evenly, though she feared for her friend's sanity.

Damien decides to leave Ellie and Ryan to it, he doesnt want to upset them.
