Annoying repeated friend requests
I've not had a friend request from any of the ones mentioned. & I don't have many friends either
I added him as a friend as well.I stupidly thought someone had to be a member of this group to send a friend request. Lesson learned.
I've had Violine several times, ahem. She's a cracking lass, we're due to get married next April.
You better be careful, Andrew, she does seem to be having faithfulness issues.

This is just an author trying to make himself look better by amassing as many friends as he can.It's the same as authors who follow everyone and their mother on Twitter to try to get as many followers as possible.
It's lame, and in the end it's poor marketing practice because you get threads like started about you that damage your reputation.

I add most people that request - though I usually roll my eyes a bit if it's an author I've never heard of with 5,000 friends. But I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm probably overdue for a bit of a cull though.

No, I'm using my MacBook, but it's a heart on my iThing too :) wouldn't know about windoze, cos I don't have it.
I'm using a normal laptop and saw it as a heart...

I'm going to stir things up now! I don't see a heart, but neither do I see three lines like an equals sign - I see a box with numbers in, in brackets! Honest! I'm using a net book...
I only add people as friends if I recognise their name, so they might be a member of the group but never posted but I'll still ignore their friend request. I'm sure they are all lovely people but I just don't see the point in friending someone I am never going to talk to.Not had a request from that guy Patti, no doubt it'll come in time
