I have just published a childrens’ picture book, Yummy Tummy Rhymes. Yummy Tummy is an illustrated collection of rhymes and songs themed around every day foods and is aimed at the pre-school market. The illustrations have been created using paper cuts using textured card and origami paper and have a definite funky, retro feel which adults and children both like. The book has already received favourable 4 and 5 star reviews on Amazon.co.uk and on Amazon.com. The link is http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yummy-Tummy-R...
And so a little about me... I am a mum of three and also a registered childminder working in Linlithgow, Scotland. Originally, from the NE of Scotland, I studied Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art. I originally collated the rhymes and illustrations to record the silly songs that we sing at the dinner table, particularly when encouraging my youngest (and least co-operative) member of the family to eat up. Following favourable feedback, I then published initially as a fundraiser for two local playgroups which was very successful. We had a lot of very positive local press but would like to extend our marketing wider.
Thank you for taking the time to read through my blurb. If anyone is interested in reviewing I would be delighted to email a pdf file.
