I have just seen Skyfall and it has renewed my faith in the James Bond movie franchise. Has anyone else watched it yet? and if so what did you think?

I didn't need my faith renewed, but I thought Skyfall was one of the 3-4 best Bonds ever. My review http://paullevinson.blogspot.com/2012...
I've seenSkyfall three times so far. Really enjoyed it. Agree that it is one of the best the franchise has put out. Myabe the bestm not based on a Fleming book. Wish they had plans to put Skyfall into a book format. Always nice to "get inside" the characters heads as you can do only by reading the story.
My friend is blind and I when I took him to see the movie, he enjoyed it but had a little trouble following and kept asking me if they novelized it. I hope they do.
Great reviews here - Skyfall is going to be one of my all time favourite Bond movies. Even better, it's how Fleming would have wanted it, too: http://www.intrepidallen.com/blog/201....

I reviewed the movie for my publisher and said that I was more engaged by Daniel Craig this time around than I was in QUANTUM OF SOLACE. I thought he was incredible in CASINO ROYALE - I saw that film half a dozen times. Back then, he convincingly portrayed the raw material that would become the secret agent – the wet-behind-the-ears new boy under immense pressure to prove himself worthy of Double-0 status. A nice parallel given that Craig’s appointment as the new 007. Craig had as much to prove as Bond himself. His hunger to prove the detractors wrong was palpable in CASINO ROYALE and in SKYFALL he has very successfully channeled that hunger again. I loved it.

watched it first night it opened in canada.loved it. maybe even better than casino royale. not sure both awesome.
loved the ian fleming style scens like shooting the whiskey from the man with golden gun)possibly pineapple in the book.can't remember.
and the lizard bit was also very flemingy.
bring on the next one
I loved the movie, I would put it in the top 3 Bond movies ever. I'm just upset they didn't do a novelization of the movie. Bond is a literary property first and every movie should have a book version.
So now I've seen Skyfall. Definitely one of the better Bond films. The best one? I'm not sure. I really liked Golden Eye and Casino Royale (the more recent one) really blew me away.
