I thought I saw the authors say that this book wasn't a continuation of Beautiful Bastard but something new. Has anyone else heard that or am I insane?

It's a companion novel. The story is about two different characters and their story but is related in a way to BB.
So no more on Chloe and Bennett? Bummer.
Chloe and Bennett show up, but the second book is focused on Sara's story. Don't worry, Chloe and Bennett will always have a role within these stories.

There's a 3rd book coming out, I don't know if it's a sequel, but it will be called Beautiful Bitch. You can pre order it now. I already did. Can't wait!
Beautiful Bitch is 1.5 in the series, between Bastard and Stranger. Beautiful Player is the next BOOK while Bitch, Bombshell and Beginning are all novellas.
