Not quite the same thing, but I've seen, several times over the week, an ad for an PNR that indicates that the protagonist is a viking (well born that way at least), vampire, angel, and NAVY Seal.I have no idea if the book is a good paranormal romance or not, but that string of talents still amuses me a lot.
That said, the ad obviously caught my attention and I read considerably less PNR than many people.
(Snort) They keep piling on the...talents?...or is there something ELSE they keep piling HIGHER? PNR doesn't sell like it used to - guess it's jumped the shark.

Looks like something else, sounds like something else, smells like something else, likelihood is that it IS something else.

Apparently, he was born a mortal Viking and because he lived his life pretty much as the avatar of Sloth he was "punished" by being turned into a "vangel" and has to do this whole repetence thing.Along the way to the 21st century though, he was a number of other alpha-male hotties (e.g., sheik, cowboy), et cetera and less impressive things (e.g., ditch digger).
Like I said, it could be great, but that description did make me literally laugh out loud.
