OMG, ONE WEEK LEFT TILL DRESDEN FILES: COLD DAYS.

... I'm a fair bit obsessed with the series and this last week is killing me. I read the first chapter on Butcher's site, but can't bring myself to read the others. If I do, the wait will be that much more difficult. >_<

Katt_goddess | 269 comments Nothing coming up that I know of anyway. But that hasn't stopped my book lust before. :D My last great book wait was for the Weird Al book which I had had on advanced order at the local B&N from the second it was available to do so - which was months before it came out.

I'm worse off than you - I've been waiting for the SFBC to release omnibus versions of the Dresden Files rather than go out and get them individually [because then it's 2-3 books all at the same time and doesn't eat up precious bookshelf space :D ]. Unfortunately, the last novel of the last omnibus was quite awhile ago now. :( So I still have Small Favors, Turncoat, Changes, Ghost Story, and now Cold Days on my MINE!MINE!MINE! list. And it's such a popular series that it's literally impossible to find any at a used book store otherwise I probably would have tossed them on the pile last book-trip with the excuse of 'i'm recycling! i'm recycling! honest!' :D I'll probably cave soon and just get caught up in paperbacks.

I can usually stand to wait for things because there's just so much out there to read, but with certain series.... no. Just. No.

I wish I could have that many new Dresden Files to read. :robotsad: I really need to do a reread of the entire series. I need to freshen up on all the little details of the big story. I think I might do that after Cold Days. Maybe I could see if people wanted to do a Dresden read for the group. >_>
