Lucas saw the way she looked at him and he nodded. "Of course. As long as we get some shut eye." He then started up the stairs.

"Here it is." Lucas said quietly, opening the door to reveal the bed. "You can take it. I'll just be on the floor." he insisted.
Jasmine sighed and nodded "okay."she said to him since he insisted on it but she wasn't even going to take up the whole space of the bed.
Lucas yawned loudly and settled himself on the floor, not finding it hard since, during his tracking days, he had slept in worse places.
Jasmine slept on one side of the bed and yawned shaking a bit when she thought of her sister and everyone else.
Lucas twitched in his dreams, thinking up nightmares and bad dreams due to all the travelling he had done recently - it was taking its toll on him.
Jasmine woke up before a nightmare could enter her dreams. She didn't want to wake up from a nightmare.
Lucas sat up in the middle of the night quietly, frustrating and exhausted from all the nightmares he was having. "Jasmine...?" he whispered in the darkness.
Jasmine sighed. "No I've been up for a while." she whispered to him admitting it. She hated being so tired.
"Couldn't get any sleep either huh?" he said tiredly, shuffling closer to the bed so they could speak in lower voices to not wake Mara up.
Jasmine nodded. "I woke before my nightmares started." she said softly she didn't want to see the nightmares nor wake up Mara.
"Better than you can say for me. Hm...Jasmine, did anyone hurt you in that castle?" he then asked tentatively the thought that had been on his mind for ages.
Jasmine nodded no. "Not that I remember." She whispered unsure she can't remember very much of the castle.
"Good, good." he continued to repeat, nodding the in darkness. It was obvious he also wanted to talk more, ask more but he felt awkward with their current situation - not just the night but their entire relationship, everything that occurred in the past.
"Yeah, best we just move on about this. So. I say we start off early tomorrow morning, what do you say?" he changed the topic quickly.
"We'll take as much food and clothing as we should and get a move on. One day's ride should be plenty to get to Tyrell." He nodded.
"Of course. I made that promise to you. They're reliable people." he insisted, understanding her discomfort.
Jasmine nodded "how was Asha when you were with her?" Jasmine asked curiously. She felt guilty asking that.
"Just before dawn I think." Just at the moment he finished talking, he pulled aside the curtain and looked out of the window - indeed, the sun was rising.
The early morning sunrise light streamed into the room, illuminating everything with a red and orange glow. "It's going to be a good day." he said admirably, looking at the paling blue sky.
"Let's get a-packing then." he murmured, getting up and stretching with a massive yawn. He certainly didn't get enough sleep.
((Thanks! It was fun!))Lucas paused and thought a bit. It had been a while since they had done anything fun or interesting..."Jasmine, do you want to smile a bit?" he asked mischievously.
((I bet!:)))Jasmine looked up. "During all of what's been happening. I haven't found a good reason to smile." She admitted to him.
"Come on. We'll be back before Mara wakes up." he insisted, sitting on the window ledge like a mischievous smile.
