"I couldn't." She said not moving away when he grabbed her arm.

"Don't tell me it was because of the stupid pendant thing. Jasmine, listen. I know this is hard to believe but my boss wants it for good. I can make all these problems disappear." he insisted.
"Lucas this pendant caused me to loose my father to go no the run with my sister. The pendant is causing chaos and it will create worse chaos if your boss gets it." Jasmine said.
"He knows what he is doing! Why can't you believe me? This is only for your own good." he pleaded.
"Lucas I do believe you." Jasmine said.
"Then you'd give me the pendant." he stuck his hand out.
"Can you take it back from your sister? It's important." he moved past her and looked into the kitchen.
"Can you get it off her? Please? I'll meet you out there at midnight." he told her urgently.
"I will try but Lucas if I don't show you will know I couldn't get it." She said
"Please try. It was nice to see you again. Midnight, alright?" he backed to the door.
Jasmine nods "Alright midnight." she said to him.
"See you then. Goodbye Jasmine." he nods, closing the door after him. Asha enters a second later, eyebrow raised and arms crossed. "Hm..." is all she says.
Jasmine nods and looks at her sister she most likely knew what they were talking about.
"You're meeting later I suppose?" Asha says, releasing her arms and walking by her sister.
"Only if I bring the pendant." She said softly.
"That's what I guessed. Do you think I'm going to give it over to you?" she asks calmly.
Jasmine nods no "I already know you won't give it to me Asha." She said.
"So do you plan on stealing it off me then?" she asks.
Jasmine nods no "No I won't dare." She said
"What are you going to do then Jasmine?" she questions, confused.
"I don't know.I just know giving the pendant is dangerous." She said.
"At least you understand that. Are you going to trick him?" she wondered.
Jasmine says "I don't think I can." She said she still had feelings for Lucas and didn't want to hurt him.
"I don't want to be the one to ask you this but what do you choose? Him or us." She put it simply.
Jasmine looks up at her sister surprised she asked that. But how could she answer that question was difficult to answer with those chooses.
"I'm sorry. Never mind, pretend I never said it. It's just that," she sits on the stairs "everyone is telling us to give the pendant up, and it just seems the easiest and best choice for us, so I wonder whether our stubbornness is good or bad..."
Jasmine sits down next to her. "It's harder to choose if we give it up or not." Jasmine said. "Is it going to be a good thing if we give it up or a bad thing?" she said.
"Exactly. I don't know what to do. I wish papa was still telling us." she sighs.
Jasmine nods she tries not to get emotional when her sister mentions papa.
"We need to get ourselves out of this situation and to do so, we need to clarify some things; who are our friends?" she asks,.
Jasmine nods then tries to think "I have no clue who our friends are." She said.
"Lucas, I suppose, is our friend because he takes care of us. An ally more like it. Maev, in another way..." she says.
Jasmine nods she didn't trust Maev though.
"Beth. The little girl. She likes us genuinely." Asha continues and then stops. "Who are our enemies?"
Jasmine nods then thinks of enemies. "The guards, the bandits," She said thinking of more.
"And more importantly, the Lords who want the pendant." Asha finishes off her sister's sentence. "And what do we have as material possessions?"
Jasmine nods happy her sister finshed off what she was going to say. "The pendant, the journal,"
"A few instruments and cheer." Asha laughs, grinning. "So what is our definite plan? The final solution?"
Jasmine laughs. "Maybe hide the pendant or destroy it?"
"Destroy it! That's the answer Jasmine! We need to destroy this accursed thing that shouldn't be alive!" Asha shoots to her feet, ecstatic with the idea.
Jasmine looks up surprised. "But how?" She said.
"I'm not sure...I suppose fire won't work, or just smashing it...we need a bit more knowledge. But who knows how to kill something so powerful?" Asha wonders.
Jasmine shrugs unsure trying to think.
"But thoughts for another time. You need to trick Lucas into taking the wrong pendant." she says.
Jasmine says "but we don't have anything to give him that looks exactly like it." She said.
"So it's time to negotiate our own conditions. Demand that you will never give it to him if he doesn't tell you what you want to know - how do you destroy the pendant." she suggests.((gtg))
Jasmine thinks it could work well. ((Kk))
"You'll have to be wary to choose your words correctly. You don't want to upset him." Asha warns.
