"Any lead is something. Where could we find them?" Asha shrugs.

"I know the recent retired guards might know where the pendant was last seen and who probably has it."
The streets are not too busy so Asha looks around for a bit until she finds a group of walking guards. Following them, she believes they could lead the way.
The guards weave through the streets, not suspecting anyone was following them. Finally, they paused by a watch tower where they changed shifts.
"Last day on the job huh?""Yes. Forty years is long enough for me. See you around."
"Bye old crow."
The old man began hobbling away.
"He's retiring. What are the chances? Let's follow him now. I'll bet you anything he's going to visit other retirees." Asha whispers.
So they change directions and follow him as he hobbles through the quiet streets. Finally, he turns into a tavern to meet his friends.
Asha peers into the window and watches. "Definitely. We just need to have them talk about the pendant. Perhaps a song is in order?"
"It has to be something about the pendant. That way, they'll start the conversation and we can eavesdrop." Asha says.
Jasmine nods and takes her notebook and gives her sister a tale about the pendant that can be transfigured into a song.
"Good. Let's go in. Don't ask for permission. Just barge in and sing. He can't say anything." Asha smiled, hand on door handle.
Asha then skips in, stringing her harp and calling out for attention in a musical voice. "Com gather around to listen to our song, we're not supposed to be here so it won't take that long!" Everyone laughs as she ascends to the stairs.
The old guards begin whispering among themselves to Asha quietens her voice and strums her harp solely to hear them better.
"...the casing wasn't enough to hold the pendant.""That's impossible!"
"Yes! I swear, the pendant was glowing so strongly, it melted the box away."
Asha's eyes widened and she leans in to hear better.
They kept on talking about myths and tales until they came up onto the topic of where it was now."I just saw it last night. The black market lord has it. In his cave, outside of town. He's keeping it until the Lord can take it off him for a handsome price." he explained.
Asha sighs as she finishes the song, glad they discovered what they needed. "Thank you!" she bows and leaps off stage gracefully.
Jasmine finishes with her sister she bows and goes off the stage with her sister her arm still hurting terribly.
((gtg! Battery dying!))"Of course. The observing tactic. Your arm still good enough to travel out of town?" she packs up her things again.
They follow a worn path until they hear horses behind. "Quickly, hide in the bushes!" Asha whispers.
Asha holds her breath as they trot through...but wait! They were...they were the bandits! They were going to their hideout! "We need to follow them!" she whispers.
There were so many of them, carrying all sorts of treasures and jewels from their raids. Asha watches them with awe. Just a few of those and she and her sister would be set for life...
After they all passed and it was safe, Asha steps out and looks at Jasmine. "Did you see that?"((gtg))
"We have to follow them. They'll lead us in, we take the pendant and some gold and we're free!" she claps excitedly.
"We have to wait for them to get out before we go in of course, but we should see how they enter their cave. We probably should run." Asha says, beginning to walk quickly.
