The quantum physicists are always saying crazy stuff that does seem mystical...maybe it just is. I mean what is a star really? Does anyone really know? Or an atom or a cell? or God? I don't think anyone really knows what they are talking about when they talk about this stuff!

Does it "matter"?? Pun intended. Of course it matters, it's the essence of understanding the reality we all reside in. It's the pursuit of knowledge and unlocking the secrets of life... Knowing truth from fiction. Knowing what's really real and what IS possible. What could be more important..?!
Anything not understood appears "mystical" or even magical. That doesn't make it crazy, it does make it ever more wondrous. Lets face it, it's only mystical if you don't have a working understanding of it.
To me it doesn't seem mystical, magical or crazy... It's just fantastic and when you open some understanding to it, it's like opening up an ancient secret that makes life make sense.
We have a very good understanding of stars, atoms and cells. God is just a relatively new fantasy imagined to help people cope and live with things they couldn't explain.
There are a lot of people who really do know what their talking about on these subjects and they're excellent to listen to, talk to and read. The fact that the majority do not, shouldn't lead your thinking and I sincerely hope that is a temporary situation for humanities sake.
The difference is, this claims to be _Non-fiction_. The author makes ridiculous and unreasonable claims in support of unrelated outcomes and spiritual nonsense.
The best thing about this book? It gets otherwise disinterested people into such science.
The worst? It muddies the water in otherwise vastly important and interesting reality and miss-associates the reality with pseudoscience.
