What's with the new cover?

I really liked the old cover. It was a strong graphic. It meshed with the masculine POV that we get from the protagonist and it suggested the theme of school which played a big part in the story.

The new cover (twisted/entwined flowers) seems to play squarely into the chick-lit romance genre market. I'm sure that there are readers to be found there that will like this book as well but I think that the original cover was stronger.

I didn't even know about the new cover. I really think that you're right. The new cover is girly and makes it look like a romantic junk book. *shrugs*
