That's freaky, KD. I agree with the idea that there's a lot of unexplained phenomena out there.

Cool, freaky cool, KD. Thanks for sharing.
I must admit that when I started reading the lines Okay, so yesterday I was sitting in my room burning a ..." I assumed something else.

But creeptastic. I love UFO stories.

Oooo freaky! I most definitely believe in UFOs. Too many unexplained incidents with multiple witnesses. Never heard of these black balloons though. Do you believe there's a national coverup? Roswell anyone? :)
Oh definitely, Lori. The Men in Black is a real thing.I was operating a freight train late one night when a very bright light was aimed at my cab from up above. It followed me for several minutes. It was real, and not a helicopter. It felt really weird.
my dad adamantly claims to have seen a UFO when you was younger. he was night fishing on the river and drinking beer with two friends (who were cops) and they claim to have seen something race through the sky back and forth with weird lights. he totally still stands by that story like 40 yrs later. i get him going and worked up by laughing and saying "you were drunk....you were drunk..."
Well of course - first thing I would say too!My husband, who is your typical cynical New Yorker, swears he saw a ghost. And throughout the night, others in his group saw the same ghost. This was in a big house - oh wait, it was the LI house of a super famous photographer, so was probably very old. There were no drugs or booze involved - it was a theater workshop.
What 'fireballs' in Texas? That black balloon thing is so. freaking. creepy.
You saw four of the clusters like in the video?
That was majorly weird!
It was during the day then?
Okay, that is a weird fireball story. How does something like that happen over the Dallas area, and no one can find what the hell it was??
And there is NO creepier UFO sighting than those freaky black balloons!
I do not want to ever see them.
Kevin the Barbarian wrote: "did they ever actually confirm what those "fireballs" in TX were last week?"Nope. It's still an unsolved mystery.
Oh Fine, Larry. Go and ruin our whole UFO conspiracy thread.
Oh well, we still have the black balloons.
Kevin: those were just regular balloons with some sort of metaphorical anti-war meaning.
They didn't have a mind of their own.
