I really enjoyed the Maze runner it was an intense book with many twists and turns. The maze runner really combines suspense with so many stunning revelations that keeps it interesting enough to keep turning the pages.
The positives about this book many in number it has almost hit perfection in my eyes. They provide an enemy a conflict that is so deep and real and always changing. The maze is the main enemy and is the grovers worst nightmare. They make the enemy change its walls every night and have giant slug like animals with poison guarding it at night. Some negatives are few but some do make me want to put down the book at times. The biggest thing i came across was the information flow they gave you so many questions that don't have answers right in the beginning. That's not the problem the problem was them not giving us the vital info like what some slang means.
The book was still very climactic and had so many turns away from the expected. I couldn't put the book down when i got around the part when the first girl ever was released into the grove. I also got caught up in the book after Thomas became the runner because it was so predicted and Thomas could not stop thinking about just reading the book. I thought this was just a fantastic book a 4.5/5 stars a wonderful read.
