I have thought the same thing, but then I also wondered if maybe it was Sarah. I don't know but I can't wait until the next book!!!
I thought Jesse was stealing them too. I never thought about Sarah, I don't see how she would have got into her house to take them out of her bedroom. Sam was another person I thought of just because he packed a bag for her and picked out her underwear so he had the chance to take them and Sam really likes Jesse with Ava. I can't wait for the second book either!
I have seen this question asked loads of times now. It is obvious it is Jesse. He can steal her pills if he can also manage to set a different ring tone on her phone every time! There is a part in the book where they are in the bathroom. He kneels down and she thinks he is staring at her stomach for a long time and wonders what he is doing. From that part, I knew he wanted to impregnante her. It was obvious to me.
Yea and the fact he didn't want her to wash after and used his fingers on her after as well. Yep he wants to be her baby daddy!
I agree! I would be shocked if it's anyone other the Jesse.
I thought the same thing. I can't believe that she keeps forgetting about them though. I want to know how he got the scar too.

Yes, I agree with you guys...it has to be him. He's gone through her personal stuff and changed things on her phone. I don't think it would be Sarah, she doesn't like Ava and would rather Ava wasn't in Jesse's life. I've seen a couple threads about this and no one seems to have a clue about the scar though.
Loved this book as well! I'm looking for more like this one...rich, hot, possessive male lead. I've read 50, in flight series, mystery man, gabriel's inferno, disastrous, if i were you, truth series. Anyone have suggestions on books like these...preferably ADULT contemporary.
I plan on reading a book coming out Jan 1st called "Release Me" by J. Kenner. Sounds like it's close to the same type of book. I have no idea if he is going to be any good, but you might want to check that out.

I was thinking the same thing! I know its jesse. He doesnt want her going anywhere so he is trying to get her preg to make sure she cant leave. The only thing is his possessiveness. He tells her time and time again he WILL NOT share her with anybody. Having a baby would mean exactly that.cant wait to see how that turns out!!!!.
i thought the same thing too about Jesse taking them, and remember how he wasnt wanting her to drink when she went out? thats another clue
He is an alcoholic tho so the drink thing could have been to do with that but it would work also! I'm surprised he wasn't asking her to do hand stands lol
Are you sure he is an alcholic? I know it was mentioned at the end of the first book but I wasn't sure if her really was or if Ava just thought that.

She released on scene with Ava and Jesse on Decemember 10th and another scene with Sam and Kate on November 29th. Check them out. She is awesome with communicating. I cant wait until Jan. 18th.
I just finished this book and loved it ! I wasn't crazy about Ava - I hate it when people beat around the bush. Just say what's on your mind already and make up your mind in the process! Plus, I was really disappointed to see her walk away from him in the last chapter. WTF? She didn't feel one tiny bit reponsible for his condition? Seriously?Re: pills - I too think it's Jesse. He wants her bad!! LOVE IT!
Re: scar - I thought at one point he said something that led me to believe that it could have been a motorcycle accident. I could be wrong though.
Can't wait for book 2.
Also, is this going to be a triology or will the story end in Beneath This Man?

I agreee with you, it's him stealing her pills. Remember, he'd to anything to keep her! I think that might play out in the sequel. I LOVED the book, but I wanted more background defining the characters. Hopefully that will all be taken care of.

OMG Ava is gonna absolutely FLIP when she finds out he has been stealing her pills!!! This scenario is going play out sooooo well in book 2.

Her birth control goes missing 2 or 3 times in the book, out of her bag and the ones she stashed in her dresser

That's what I thought. Was he doing it at the Manor? And speaking of the Manor, is it a brothel or more like a fetish club? Because if it's a fetish club then what's the big deal? I think Ava is overreacting if it's the latter, don't you think?

He left for 4 days, the next she seem him was at a bar where she got drunk. The pills just go missing we are left to assume its him getting rid of them
I just read this book too and LOVED LOVED LOVED it!! So happy to see more of these style books and genres coming out- they are my favorites! I love the wealthy playboy that falls in love with the one woman that changes their lives. SWOON! Jesse is a nut-ball but he's freakin' awesome! I really wasn't impressed too much with Ava though. She talks a lot in her head but never out loud. Very frustrating! I hope that book 2 she develops more communicative skills and they actually carry on some conversations and sort their s$it out!! :)

My take on the whole story is amazing....I loved the book and can't wait for Beneath This Man. My take on Ava is she has a lot of growing up to do...she can't continuing running. And so for Jessie...his going to have to come clean with her even if she runs...which I hope she doesn't but she probably will as always!
I think it's definitely Jesse who has been hiding her pills. From what we've seen who else could it be?And if it were me, given how he hides her clothes, messes with her phone etc.. I'd have been like "Have you been effin with my pills Jesse, what's the deal?"
I think Jesse for those 4 days he disappeared he was definitely havin sex with other women (probably with Sarah as well) & possibly drinking, although he made it clear in the last chap that Ava walking away from him is what essentially caused him to fall off the wagon and drink. So maybe he wasn't getting drunk for those 4 days but was definitely back in the lifestyle, as far as sex, before he met & became smitten with Ava. If this is the case, it wouldn't turn me off to Jesse cos this was the lifestyle he led before Ava. It was even said during the last 2 chapters that he often mixed business with pleasure at the Manor. So this wouldn't bother me. At that point, (4 day disappearance) they weren't really together, and she was still playin games tryin to stay away from him.
What would tick me off though is this business with her BC pills.
All I know for certain is alot of these questions will be answered in book 2 and I can't wait.

No one that I know has read it and I have questions so thought I would post on here and see what everyone else thinks.
The book sort of led me to believe that Jesse is stealing her pills, maybe to trap her with a pregnancy? Would I be right in thinking that? Anyone else have any ideas?
