I beleive she gave him over to Claires mother. Its the obvious option, so that probably means its an incorrect one, but I mean, hello??? shes in LA, shes the real grandma... It would make alot of sense, right?

But then again, I am very pissed that Kate and Sun just left their kids like that. What horrible mothers.

my guess is also that she gave him to Claire's mother. i can't think of any other option (twisted or not), but lord knows it's likely to be something else.

that was my first thought, but thenn i was thinking, why wouldn't she just tell Jack that. he would understand a logical decision like that. the fact that she says tgo never ask her that question again leads me to believe that something bad happened.
Mybe Ben got beat up trying to do something with Aaron (even though i really think he was trying to do something with Penny) I think this is just one of those mysteries that they'll give us the answers in flashbacks when they feel like it.

maybe kates sad because if she did give aaron to claire mother... the rightful grandmother... just think of how hard it would be for both of them because im sure that she wouldnt give aaron back after missing claire that much and knowing that a part of her is walking around... i dont think so, so maybe kate is just sad in thinking that she wont be able to have aaron back and even though jack is trying to be nice about it and talk about it that kate just doesnt want to talk about it

If I'm remembering correctly, Sun's little girl is with her mother in Korea. When she talked to her mother on the phone, her mother asked when she was coming home and she said she would get on a plane the next day.

Ok, new to the discussion so I'm just gonna go with what I think and it's probably what others are too. I think that either Kate abandoned Aaron in some way, cause she tends to cut her relationship with people off quickly, or she gave him to Claire's mom. She did know where she was after all, in town I mean. That would be the right thing to do, but whether or not Kate would do that... I'm not sure.
