Breaking Dawn. Alice's Vision.....to Aro.
There have been rumblings lately that Stephenie Meyer was considering the possibility of someday writing another book that focuses on life 6 years later, when Ness is full grown. Or, in short, Jake and Ness' story.But it's a rumor of a rumor of a rumor. The only thing she's actively talked about was Host sequel(s) and mermaids..and she's been talking about them since at least before BD1. I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in the book 6 rumor.
So, my girlfriends and I all went to see the new Twilight movie like we always do. It has become more of a reason just to get together over the years rather than a love of the movies. We are fans of the books though. BD2 was OK. The best part was the ending however, I do have a complaint. Alice isn't supposed to be able to see the future of the half human/half sups yet, all of a sudden in the last installment of the films, she can. Normally I will overlook certain inconsistencies when it makes the movie better. However, this one was a pretty big deal. I mean seriously, a lot of the plot of the whole series has to do with holes in her vision because of the wolves and Renesmee. Just saying...

Not to mention, her final vision showed Bella, Edward, Jacob and Renesmee all together living HEA. It was very inconsistent with not only the books, but even the movies. Like in New Moon, she thought Bella was dead because Jacob fished her out of the water and she was with him the rest of the time - I believe Alice's exact words were, "I can't see past you and your pack of mutts!" Also, when Bella was pregnant, she couldn't see her future anymore... It just didn't match up.

Bella's whole being was wrapped around Ness. And in the books, it wasn't that she couldn't see Bella's future at all, it just kept tuning in and out, giving her the vampire equivalent of a headache. She *did* see the battle in her vision right before she left the Cullens and I can't imagine a scenario that would have that battle taking place without Jake, the packs and Ness there for it.
I'm just saying that Meyer left some wiggle room in there. And since she was one of the producers of the movie, I'm pretty sure she'd have nixed it if she didn't agree with the scene.
I don't think it's that big a deal that we saw the werewolves and Renesmee in the vision. That was all for our benefit. The point was that Aro saw himself die.And no, Alice wouldn't have been completely blocked from seeing the battle at all simply because the wolves were there. She just wouldn't see them personally. Kind of like how in Eclipse when Riley goes to Bella's house. Alice never loses sight of Bella or Charlie. She just never sees Riley because he doesn't interfere with them.
Not that I'm saying the whole thing was super consistent, because Chasta makes a good point, but I just don't think it's a major fault of the movie. I mean, we saw the wolves. Doesn't mean Alice did.
It's not really that different from when Bella lets Edward see into her mind at the end. Bella obviously didn't see herself, but we did.
classic move everyone in the movie was crying and getting pissed off and when we found out it was just a vision it was a sign of relieve and a lot of people were laughing afterwards showing the relieve lol

thank God it was just a vision. But it was awesome, though some parts were a bit choppy.

LMAO! Yeah I know I hated that. My heart dropped, then stopped, and I felt crushed as people were dying. Oh gosh and when Seth died T_T I started crying and I was like "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!" I even freaking screamed for Edward because I seriously thought he was going to be crushed between rocks. And when Jane started running away, holy crap I was like "kill her!" it would have been her fault that Seth died. I was glad it was a vision though. Nicely done with throwing us off. Though I didn't appreciate the heartache! Lol.
Oh my heart broke when Carlisle lost his head and shattered when jasper was killed and i really thought it was gonna jump out of my chest when Seth then Leah were next! I covered my eye's when i thought Edward was going to die- too much to handle!! I couldn't believe i was tricked in to thinking this ending was real, but thank god it wasn't cos i would of been p*s!ed if that was how they were ending it! It was a fantastic way to end the film!

I went at midnight so did half of the teenage population. So when someone died they started screaming. I did scream when they killed jasper. I was like.." bitch i was to marry him.....NO!?!" Ya so were all the other girls here.
Okay guys here's a question and I'm not trying to be negative but I only read the book once&maybe I just missed something: How is it that Alice can all of a sudden have visions about the wolves (aka: the fight scene, and the touching jake and nessie scene) when in New Moon the whole reason Edward tried to get killed was because Alice didn't see that Bella was not dead but in fact saved by Jacob? Didn't Alice say she couldn't have visions about the wolves?And if so when did that change?
Again I'm honestly just curious. I loved Part2 but this is bugging me cause a couple other ppl on here have mentioned this.

I guess but in both her visions she saw the wolves&I thought she wasn't able to do it. Like it wasn't just jacob, she couldn't see anything about the wolves.
loved the movie! just saw it and I can't complain. it's probably the best installment of the series yet. from the acting, to the scenes, and getting points across. it kept me at the edge of my seat, and I just did not want it to end!

Lol you should have her my in the cinema. my friends were killing them selves.when we realised it was i vision i seriously shouted "Are you kidding Me, I'm writing a complaint" it was funny as, i mean who dare they make my sad and oh-so close to tears by killing off nearly everyone and then it just turns out to be a vision.
I was sooooooo pissed. but happy that it didn't end that way.
I swore really loud and my mum hit me...but missed and punched the popcorn- it went flying everywhere, lol.

You also see all the action from a vamps pov not a wolfs.
I was like " OH HELL NO THEY DIDN"T KILL CARLISLE!" and started BAWLING. then it was just a vision. OMG OMG best twilight yet, ever, my new fav!

I loved it...obviously not when it was happening but afterwards. It was a great twist and like how they switched it up. When I look back on it, it seems like you knew it's coming but don't think of it too much because for every other person Aro touched, they made sure that they didn't show what he was seeing. Best movie out of all of them by far. I loved how cute the ending was ♥

If the vision was real I would have been p****d. Carlisle, Jasper, seth and Leah. Maybe one for dramatics but not all four, and seth was just cruel :(. Loved it though and relieved it was a vision. Gutted its all over
The vision was BRILLIANT! I was so shocked when I saw Carlisle unheaded, the fight was an awesome massacre but I was all "OMG they can't be doing this!" Then it all turned out to be a vision, ROLF it really was the MISSING PIECE in the breaking dawn novel.

Did anyone notice the vision Alice saw at the end could have actually not been a vision. She can't see werewolves and halbloods. But it was a nice dream....
It was an awesome twist--everyone was fooled-I've never heard soo much crying as when Carlisle was killed. I think I screamed NO. But cudos to the screenplay writer for that---very good!!!!!
I actually didn't mind it too much it was smart and fairly realistic and maybe Stephane Myer had thought of something like that for the book. but because Bella could read minds she couldn't see the vision. Either way it was shocking an strange to see favorite character die!
This part freaked me out. The way they did I I thought it was really for a second untill I realized that no one was going to die.

omigosh, I was too stunned to say a single sound, but on the inside i was screaming. i practically bit my hand off lol. all my favorite characters died! ALL FOUR. and jane. yeah I thought they were gonna kill Bella or Edward (aw dang, it cut off your quote. i hate it how it does that!). like, when edward fell into the hole, i was POSITIVE he was going to die. but nooo, he somehow is CATAPULTED out?!? o.O but when he fell and it showed Bella, I was like, 'yup... she's totally going to deliberately jump into the ravine, cuz edward's- oh wait no. nevermind. :P'
lol fourth post: how did Alice see Renesmee and all the werewolves in the vision? and at the very end, as well. she explained it before: "I can see humans because I was one. I can see vampires because I am one. But I can't see Renesmee or werewolves because I've never experienced it!" ehhh whatever it was still a fantastic movie.my mom had a decent explanation. she said that since powers can be expanded or developed (like Bella's shield), he vision probably expanded so she can see anything now.

That's a good question if renseesme and Jacob had a kid than I think Alice could see the child in a vision! Maybe depends if the child turns into a werewolf! If the kid doesn't than she should see then always but I guess when/if the kid turns into a wolf Alice can't see them. But Resenesmee might not even be able to have kids

Then it was just a vision? WDF? keep me on my seat. It was sooooo cool. I am so hear a rumor.... Come close....For a Twilight movie number 6. I AM NOT SURE I HEARD IT FROM THE DIRECTER. (My brother meet him and as they were talking he let slip there might be a twilight number 6 in the makings.)
