Artur | 9 comments i read a book while i was in jail back in 06/07 the first and last few pages were missing along with the cover i don remember title/author it was a good fantasy book and i will give u as much info as i can recall.

there are 4 main chars (don remember names so ill give them names to avoid confusion) a brother and sister ill call them Apollo and Artemis and theyre friends who also r brother and sister ill call them Atlas and Arachna. Apallo from what i remember was very educated an literate who was taught poetry by his father which was a rare thing in the village they lived in his sister Artemis was very beautiful Atlas was very simple, big and very strong who had a secret crush on Artemis, his sister Arachna was very straight forward temperamental but lovin and caring she was a weaver who made close i believe, that's how she earned her living she also had a secret crush on Apollo. So the story begins in a small village in some fantasy world its a simple life kinda place, i remember this rich aristocratic family moves in there the girl has a hard time adjusting to the pple there but becomes good friends with Apollo because he was educated and an had a lot in common with her, they talked about poetry an philosophy a lot, which made his friend Arachna extremely jealous.i don recal why or how but they end up leavin theyre village on some kinda mission i don remember about Apollo but Artemis had to go somewhere she had a friend a middle aged man whom she admired an respected the guy was known as a great warrior in the village she asked him to come with her to protect her she loved him and he loved her too but more like a daughter. after they left Atlas left as well to find Artemis i think he got lost on the way and stumbeled on a smal faery thing that he saved from some animal both were stund he never seen fairys before and she was amazed thet he could see her humans cant see them, turnes out his bloodline on moms side had some magical properties i think so they traveled together he could protect her and she made sure he doesnt get cheated or ripped off i know that in the end he fought some demon that guareded the bridge to the fairie world he fairy told him the demon gathers his strength from the earth so he had to lift him an keep him off the ground to defeat him at the same time somewhere else Artemis was in trouble they were chased by some monsters or undead the warrior that acompanied her locked her in some room and charged at the foes he killd a lot of them before he himself fell back to Atlas he regain his strenght and was goin down the bridge to fairy world and either he shrank to her size or she grew to his cus he was carryin her in his arms when they were half way on the bridge the fairy gave him a choice either to go with her or help Artemis and she showed him a vission where the warrior died protectin her she was locked in the room and monsters were breakin down the door he chose to save artemis fairy bid him farewell ant teleported him to Artemis, now don remember much about Arachna she was the last one to leave and also descovered her magical powers but out of her jelousy she used it for evil she spun and weaved all the surcumstances (i think a lot of what hapened to the other was her doing) untill her power an jealosy consumed her an she became some kind of a creachure traped in her own webs.
That pretty much what i remmeber form the book so if anybody knows it or has an idea as to what the title is please lemme know. thank u for ur time.

Artur | 9 comments yeah... tell me about it, i had to fight to read this book...i think there might be a sequel to it that's why im tryin to find it...also im not sure but i think the book might be by an English author or perhaps from Whales...don take my word for it though.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) Was one of the brothers from a family of crafters that had some special secret (pottery or weaves or something)? I'm remembering something if the "fairies" the siblings first leaving village stumble across are swampdwellers.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) It's on the tip of my tongue; thinking back thru my reads. And pretty dead set that they left their village just to seek their fortune. (No invasions or anything; just youth out to make good and the one's specialty was the key to it and/or they had village trade goods with them that they way overestimated.)
