Quinn, it’s an honor to be part of a group that makes others feel safe to be themselves! Welcome, friend.
So I also missed our vault over the 7,000 member mark by... oh, a few :)Welcome to the new members, and thanks to everyone for keeing our group active and growing.
Hello everyone, just joined the group and started reading Y/A LGBTQ fiction so I have a lot of catching up to do :)
How fitting that when I went looking for an image for our 7833 members, one option was a classic costume pattern for The Wizard of Oz?
Good to have all 7833 of us here together :) Welcome new folk.
And we're over 7900 (with 8,000 members our next goal!) Welcome everyone and thanks for making this a useful and fun place for our members.
And we have passed the 8,000 member level. I'm delighted that so many people have found us worth joining, and worth hanging around. Thanks to all our members.
We just hit 8500 members! So very cool, to see people interested in the books and the group. Welcome everyone.
Hello, I just joined Goodreads a little while ago. I've decided to take on a bucket list item to write a novel. I'm currently in the process of writing an LGBT horror/slasher book that will hopefully be released in early 2021. I can't wait to get to know all of you that are interested in my story!Stay safe out there!

GR has made it hard to get an accurate membership count, but apparently we are now at...
And supposedly full of pep.
Well, I missed the moment we passed 9,000 members (but Yay!!) and we're now at...
Welcome to all the new folks, and thanks to everyone for being a part of the group.

Maybe we should do some kind of celebration...
And we're over 10,000 members (YAY) at 10,029. I went looking for a fun image, and found it fitting that Lego's 10,029 is the lunar lander - the face of the future, of optimism, and exploring a new and wider world view. Make it so.

This is a time I'm missing my friend and co-moderator Sammy - she was the fun one, full of enthusiasm and would have had so many great plans for a 10K celebration.
All I can say is thanks, everyone, for joining us to celebrate queer books and the people whose lives fill the pages.

Congrats Kaje! Are you thinking of doing a celebration?
Maybe? I'm not good at party type things, but maybe I can figure something out that would be fun enough to get people out to enjoy it...
We continue to grow - if anyone has suggestions about making the group more useful or more interactive let me know.
WOW, that’s a lot of people! This is, I believe, my first time commenting publicly in the group, though I’ve been here for a while. Thank you guys for doing this, I enjoy following along with the books 📚

It's a pretty quiet group, partly because our fun group "mom" Sammy passed away of COVID. But hopefully, we're still giving members something useful here. And I appreciate everyone who joins us.
