I love Jane Austen...and two of my favourite novels of hers are
and
. Emma is a romantic comedy of errors and always puts me in a good mood when I read it. Sense and Sensibility is about two sisters who have lost their father and left with no money to speak of. They must find suitors that can take care of them and their mother and younger sister.
I loved Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence
. One book I struggled with was The Catcher in the Rye
by J.D. Salinger. I just didn't enjoy it.

although I know a lot of people think this was not her best.
