Help. I am trying to find a book I read a while ago, but all I remember is the basic story. I thought with the great fantasy readers here that one of you may be able to help me. OK, so the main character is a girl, half human with the legs like a deer. This has never occurred before. Her mother is the high priestess/voice of her goddess. Her father is a centaur, high shaman of his kind with the ability to transform to human form so that he may produce children with the mother. She has a protective older brother of human form. Everyone cherishes her for good reason. There are also these demon formed creatures driven to madness as they age. They have been driven out of the kingdom. Some, still young enough not to be affected with blood lust, seeking a cure based on prophecy sneak back across. She meets and falls in love with one and sacrifices herself, spilling her blood to cure their illness. There is much more, but now this is getting long. If any of you have read the book, or even recommend a better way to search I would appreciate it. This is driving me nuts. Thanks!

everyone has been soo great finding this book for me. I bought it and reread it now. Now another is driving me crazy. I am a face person, not a name person and it translates to the books I read. : ( Ok a female cop with an angel side-kick (enforced). the walls have opened between realms to allow his Kind to enter. He has to a wear around his neck to prevent his powers to overwhelm the ladies. At one point she accidentally fuses it to him. I know I read 3 book by this author. The main character has a child. She goes after her partner (who is super sexy)to save him from being a tool. Aggghh I want to reread but my memory sucks on the details of author and title, please help.
