I used to have a private practice. As an endocrinologist I've treated and been councillor to many transsexual patients, both FTM and MTF.
... and actually, it's no surprise that we don't see stories like that in literature.

Thank you, Rayna and Tink...sadly, I haven't had a chance to check them yet...finally got Thaddeus out of his more-tormented-than-Edward mood. :) Now I get to cook dinner.Plus, as much as I LOVE LOTR, after I watch them I feel sad, because I wish there were really people like Frodo and Sam and Aragorn and .... all of them are heroes to me...I wish there were more heroes in the world.
