To the first of your questions - we don't replace cover art. If the cover art for a specific edition has changed, we create an alternate-cover edition for the book. If the book actually published with two different ISBN numbers (two different editions), we include each edition in the database.GR strives to maintain the most accurate database of all books ever published as is possible. Also, people like to see the books on their shelves display the same cover the books they own or have read have.
To your second concern, I've not got enough experience with that area to speak authoritatively, but I think GR does not currently offer ebooks for purchase directly from GR - I believe we only offer the links for purchase from commercial book sites.
I've seen a few ebooks for sale here (I can't find the exact instructions, but I know that you can upload in .epub for sale).

I have two covers on my title, Piercing the Fold. I would like to eliminate the cover for ISBN 9780615665443 and use the new cover edition. I have tried to upload the change but it will not allow me. Am I doing something wrong?
Also, I would like to change the uploaded version of my book and also make it available for sale on Goodreads. It also said that I am not authorized to make that change. Once again, am I doing something wrong? Please help!
