I did! There are a couple aspects that stray from the "stock dystopian" norm, though, and I'll be curious to see what you guys think of them!

It also depends on whether you've already read other (more classic) dystopian books that this is roughly based on. I know I'm being cryptic but I'll explain when you guys read it!

The issues that I had with it weren't as bad in this one as they were in the sequel - it's the type of thing you either love or don't, and I didn't.

Okay, I just finished Chapter 8 (ready for chapter 9 in the morning). Did everyone make it?

I thought the matching was really predictable but then it's starting to get interesting

I'm finishing up chapter 6 right now! I think it's pretty interesting! All of the stuff that makes this unique- tablets, matching, trains, etc.

I think this is similar to divergent.
But I'm loving what's going on. I love when everything is a mystery and then at the end its like boom!

Cassia seems to be a very go my the rules type, since there isn't any other way
Xander is her home and her childhood
While ky is this secret boy who everyone can trust.

Cassia wanted Xander so badly but now she's "wondering"

I need to stop reading amazing books. My emotions are getting played with too much LOL just read up to 22. Not stopping. Just thought id let you know that my emotions are insane right now

Hmmm, I didn't like this one too much....I don't know if it was just too many Dystopian type books in a row (this was my 3rd one in a row) but I just didn't really get into it....

and I hated the love triangle... I was team Xander because I didn't really like Ky. I didn't understand the draw for her to be with him other than he was different...

After reading such amazing books it was weird to throw this in. I am reading cinder and its just okay.

I loved everything that Xander did for her but ky broke just as many rules. Idk I hope she meets up with Xander again and the three of them fight the government

Trisha- that's exactly how I felt! I'm glad it's not just me. It hurt me to know that she was doing all of that behind Xander's back.

I gave it three stars because I wanted her to be with Xander and not Ky so I was pretty upset about that and at some points while reading I found myself bored! I will be reading the second one though!

I am on my phone so I cannot see your rating; how did you like it Trisha? And Tayla, you don't have a rating so how did you like it?
