LOVE this idea! I will be back - don't have enough time right at this moment! I will get thinking!

... Oh nothing really. Only that I cannot understand why the insufferable Mr Darcy will keep looking at me. Not that I care for his good opinion in anyway, but it is strangely discomforting. I see my dear Anne there is a man who has eyes for only you this evening!"
...
...

Lizzie smiles saying "Anne! I did not mention the gentleman's name." With a sober look she continues "Anneee why did you mention Captain Wentworth and why does he despise you. I cannot believe that anyone would despise a kind soul that you are."
Anne shifts uncomfortably wondering what to say...
... "we have... Met before. Ages ago. When I was young, and stupid."
Lizzie is surprised, "oh"
"but then something happened... I did something stupid and now he despises me. I know it."
Anne, over come by emotions, walks quickly out of the room leaving a very intrigued Lizzy.
At that moment, Lizzy sees...

At that moment, Lizzy sees...

At that exact moment Caroline Bingley is staring at Mr. Darcy whilst he is staring at Lizzie and Mr. Tilney. Caroline says to Catherine standing next to her....

But to Caroline's disappointment no such emotion could be seen in Catherine's countenance. She seemed intently focused on the conversation taking place between Lizzy and the young man she is talking to.
Catherine casually inquires of Caroline who the young man is.
"Caroline, you do not happen to know the young man who Miss. Elizabeth is speaking to?" she said her eyes sparkling as she looks towards this young man.

"Why, I believe it is Mr. Tilney, Captain Tilney's brother," said Caroline
"Charming lad isn't he?" Caroline continued.....

"Why, Marianne, I'm surprised you have not met," Caroline said rather cat-like, "His name is Frank Churchill..."
"oh so that is Mr Churchill. I have heard much about him but never met. I hear he goes all the way to London, just to have his hair cut! But I expect that is just idle gossip!!"
We then return to Mr Darcy...
We then return to Mr Darcy...

...Mr Darcy who was talking to his good friend, Edmund Bertram.
"What are you looking at, Darcy?" asked Edmund.
"A pair of fine eyes..." said Darcy, staring at Elizabeth, who was being led back to her friends by Tilney. They appeared to be talking about books. So, she was a great reader, then. He was determined not to think of her anymore. He turned to Edmund and asked him...

"I noticed you speaking with the pretty girl in the corner. Are you well acqainted?"
"No, we only met a short time ago. Her name is Mary Crawford. Her brother and she have been living near Mansfield Park." Edmund replied, his eyes showing his enthusiasm for the subject.
Darcy said...
"Oh I believe I know of the Crawfords. She has a brother, a Mr Henry Crawford I understand?"
*Edmund nods his approval*
Continuing... "Miss Crawford seems like a charming girl, and seems to enjoy your conversation. And how is Miss Price, I hear life at Mansfield Park suits her?"
"indeed it does, she is improving daily, particularly in her reading."
"Excellent." Darcy replied. "I saw Miss Price talking to Miss Elizabeth Bennet earlier, I did not know they were acquainted?"
Straight after he said this he regretted it. *Why do I care about Elizabeth? I don't. But why did I have to bring her into the conversation then?* thought Darcy as his eyes straying unconsciously once more to Elizabeth...

"Ohh, she looks so lovely tonight, her eyes sparkles from across the room"
"Oh dear sweet Eliza if only you knew"
Mr. Darcy releases a sigh, unknowing to him. At that exact moment Mr. Wickham is watching Mr. Darcy's reaction to Lizzie. Wickham smirks and moves towards Lizzie....
(oh no!! Wickham!)
"Miss. Elizabeth! How good to see you again. I hope you are well."
*Darcy watches this encounter intently*
"I see you have captivated Mr Darcy. How long have you known him?"

(what do you mean? Continue on the conversation or sweeps back to other characters that have been mentioned or bring in some others:) )

Fanny Price entered the room arm in arm with Georgina Darcy and whispered intently into her ear, "Pray tell me, my dear Georgina who is that gentleman talking to your brother?" and giggled softly.

At the same time, Mr Darcy could no longer keep his feelings in check and was crossing the room to ask Elizabeth to dance, however just as he approached, someone else beat him to it!
He watched as they took to the dancefloor, Elizabeth and...

Fanny introduces Georgiana to James. Fanny met James at another ball (grasping at straws here, hehe).
James says "hello Miss Georgiana, how do you do?" "Splendid evening isn't it."
Miss Georgina says.....

James say "Miss Georgiana can I be forward and ask to call on you on the morrow?" That is if it is okay with your brother. Should I ask him or are you independent enough to answer for yourself. James says this last sentence with a teasing tone.

Emma Woodhouse noticed the look on Darcy's face and follow his gaze to Elizabeth Bennet and Colonel Brandon. Her matchmaking nature suddenly woke up in full force. *Mr. Darcy would be the perfect husband for my dear friend Elizabeth. I have to do something to bring them together*
"Mr. Darcy" said Emma "....

Not so far...but they should be. Lizzie for the win :)

Mr. Darcy replied..
For example: Mr Darcy walked into the ballroom and was introduced to Captain Wentworth. Their conversation went a little bit like this: .......
