Siyel is the capital of the human highland kingdom, named the Stone Crown because of the ring of sixteen stone keeps surrounding Siyel. The city has four districts and two wards--the wards are basically just massive districts--and is based mostly on one gigantic, gently sloping hill.
Near the center of the city looms the beautiful and vast Vaendel Castle, built of white stone that sparkles in the sunlight. It has four grand towers, one at each point of the compass, and a large grassy field bordered by wooden palisades adjoining the eastern wall of the courtyard. A field of white lilies encircles the castle, and a creamy gold cobblestone road leads up to its oaken gates.
The rest of the city is beautiful and obviously flourishing; there is little crime, non-humans mingle freely with the rest of the populace, and the marketplace is one of the most prosperous in Arkyla.
