Artemis after the series...

i like to think that artemis will get his memory back!
i hope that artemis and holly remain friends and nothing more as an inter species relationship is weird!
i hope holly and trouble get together despite their bad record.
i do not want minerva in artemis' life under any circumstances!!!
i think all of them are going to continue to save the world.

I am officially finished with this series. Now I don't know what to do when 8pm comes along. *sigh* Anyway, it seems that Eoin Colfer wanted his readers to do a lot of assuming as the ending was lacking on some details:

*I agree that Artemis will regain his memory with Holly and Butler's help. However, I don't know if he will be exactly the same as he was before his "death."
*As far as saving the world, I took it that Artemis was done with that as he now has his entire family back. He will probably be a normal boy(as normal as a genius can be) and live life with his fam and friends.
*I confess...I was rooting for Artemis and Holly to get together. I think Colfer left that up to our imagination.
*No Minerva. And sorry, no Trouble!
*Maybe Artemis will be an ambassador as he contemplated briefly in the last book. :)

What about that project he was working on in Atlantis complex ?Something related to global warming. I think he will continue working on projects like that. I just love the transition from Artemis in the first book to the last. It's so natural.
I hope he doesn't change much. I love Artemis just way he is!

That's a good point...maybe he will do beneficial projects. One of the things I love about this series is Artemis's character development. I could not stand him in the first book, but by the end of the series, he was one of my favorite characters.

You know I was thinking. Eoin Colfer didn't kill anyone major in the last gaurdian. I was expecting him to.

I'm glad Colfer decided not to have anyone killed. Death during combative times is a natural part of life, but sometimes I think authors overkill characters to the point that the book just becomes a bloodbath(i.e.,HP & the Deathly Hallows, Mockingjay). Julius dying was sad, yet it made the tragedies of war realistic without going too extreme. Although some critics have said Artemis coming back to life via his clone was predictable, I think it was awesome for readers to see Artemis's one last genius and eccentric plan.

Exactly! Even beyond his grave Artemis is planning!
Opal dying was actually funny.... She just dies. Like why didn't someone do that all those years ago.

-Yeah, Artemis will get his memory back. But it's way different because that's a clone of his body instead of his original with his spirit in there. So Artemis is different either ways.

-Well, I don't know if they will continue. Artemis might just lie low and make other shenanigans because Butler needs a rest of things for a while.

-Well, Artemis will be still be a mastermind and building awesome shenanigans and well, maybe there will be a romance for Holly except kind of "forbidden love" kind of way-esque.

-I think Holly should just be her spunky self without anyone.

-well, maybe Minerva will get together with Artemis sometime. XD I don't know. Imagine something up i guess, ey?

-I got no idea. Artemis and them all always surprise me. Even the villains I enjoy them surprising me! :)

Now, I feel like I have no life after reading this last book of this series. T ^ T

I can't wait for the new movie I just finished reading the books I really was rooting for holly and artemis and the series about beckett and myles seems interesting and there would definitely be glimpses of artemis and holly in those books two of my favourite book characters after percy jackson
