Of course!! I love Bridget, I adore her! Cant wait for book to be published...yay! Thanks for the info :)
Let's remember how she reacted to children: "Ewww, no." And I'm sure they're are many ways she can fall flat on her face as a society wife! She'll be everything Catherine Middleton is not.

I don't think that would happen in the book though. HF hinted at the interview that Bridget would still be single and part of the story would be about her getting into online dating, Facebook, and Twitter hook-ups. Mark D. And Daniel C. would still be at the story but def. Bridget will try dating. But I would have liked it more if Bridget and Mark were already married in the story. The society wife angle would be hilarious.
Yay! Of course Bridget is still relevant. She is ultra-relevant, for there will always be single girls in their 30s who are wondering what happened & when everyone became Smug Marrieds. (Needless to say, I'm kind of pleased with the idea that she's still single.)
That's very interesting about the third book. I'm wondering how is the third part is gonna be. I also like the movie which i wish they would have the movie comes out too.

She'll be everything Catherine Middleton is not."I must admit that my initial reaction was more: "Meh, whatever" to a third book - but I guess Bridget would make a great character to lampoon the whole current Cate/Pippa obsession.

I really enjoyed these books.
I enjoyed the first two books, not too sure how I feel about a third one. I would say read and withold judgement until then.
I hope Fielding takes a different route than what she did in her last Bridget columns a few years ago, where she had Bridget pregnant by Daniel and she ended up with him, raising their kid. That was extremely disappointing :(
Responding to Chantal's message above, I'm with you. Would hate to see Bridget unhappy with a Daniel brat In tow. Would just love to see her married to Mark.

It's official - publisher has announced November 2013 as release date for third Bridget.
Poor Renee Zellweger, she keeps having to gain and lose stacks of weight for her Bridget roles! To be honest, I've enjoyed the movies more than the books.

Got to mark Nov 2013 in my calender for the book and then google when is the movie coming out. :-)I agree with Tanvee and Pauline. Not only is Mr. Colin Firth is amazing as Mark Darcy, the entire cast comes together quite well.
